This bike is easily the best MTB I've ridden so far kzbin.infoUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L Assembly was pretty self explanatory. To be fair though, I immediately swapped the derailleurs for some smoother Shimanos and thumb shifters instead of the stock twist shifters. The sheer size of this bike dwarfs most 26" bikes of the same class. I'm only 5'8" but I can sit comfortably with the saddle and suspension adjusted properly, even though my feet can just barely touch the ground. A small price to pay for such a beast. I love that Mongoose included TOOLLESS WHEELS, it makes transporting and techwork so much easier. The aluminum frame makes it so much lighter than I expected. In comparison, mine weighs only 2lbs more than the 24" my friend rides. I'm not the most in shape rider but even I can climb inclines like a breeze with this bike and it's massive wheels and 21 speeds.

I really enjoy just watching how you assemble these beautiful bikes. Anyway, would you please mention the type of oils or greases you use for different part of the bike. I have my own bike and I would love to service it. However, I don’t have any idea about what kind of substances should be used for each part. Can’t wait to see your upcoming videos with mentioning to technical informations. Thanks for sharing and making these awesome videos ✌🏻🌸

The pinnacle of rim brake & mechanical shifting! 👍👍 Maybe one day the big manufacturers are going to offer at least a part of their lineups with these technologies. It's still lighter and more aerodynamic than disc brakes, and makes perfect sense for light weight riders doing major climbs. Plus the ease of maintenance...

And that's boys and girls how bikes should come to the world! I came for the bike but stayed for the build porn, very well done in my opinion. Anyone who builds stuff should be proud of his or her makings, and this girl is doing just that.

What's up with your chain sizing? Suggest you review SRAM manual on how to properly size the chain.

If you look at the final build she had fixed it.I noticed it to first, but in the end she had shortened the chain.

Demoed this bike, did not like it. All of the linkage behind your feet felt heavy and they say its carbon fiber but it feels super heavy. With all the weight on the back wheel you cannot be playful with it.

All good but those XR1 tires? Those wear out like tissue paper & offer no traction... Poor experience with those on my previous Procaliber before I got my Supercaliber. My 9.9 came with XR2s. Although it was a little better than XR1s it wasn’t fast enough nor offered amazing traction. I replaced it with Maxxis Ikons & I never looked back. Although I do run Schwalbe Thunder Burts for more of gravel/fire road riding from time to time, I personally will never run XR1.
