17:00 Hammerheart released that on 2LP finally a few years back, I think about 10 years ago now. The master on the vinyl is about 2-3 times more dynamic than the CD. Ive got that same digipak 1st pressing that you picked up. Easily the best covers compilation of all time. It's too bad Blackmoon deleted himself before re-releasing it with the additional cover tracks by more recent bands like watain, a little known fact that was Blackmoon's plan.

That Harm album is fantastic. Very heavy thrash from Norway. I am still looking for that one on cd. I grew up near Chicago and saw Oppressor quite a few times in my teens.

Dude, that Sinawe album is gold. It's from '85 but still has a 70s flair to it, so I don't know if it's your cup of tea though. However, Korean stuff is pretty rare, at least here in the west. I have a couple of Korean metal records, including that one. It's seen as the first metal record from Korea! I'm geeking out but the Korean stuff is so illusive and it fascinates me. Never seen anyone in the VC mention that stuff.

I listened to the new Nile record not too long ago. I think you’ll really enjoy it! It was my first go along with the band, actually. I had heard of them for so many years, but never actually listened to them (as I was always more interested in bands like Death and Cannibal Corpse-and then within the last five years, bands like Tomb Mold, Horrendous, Blood Incantation, etc.).

Another excellent shopping trip video..they are always interesting for some reason...i own Einherjer dragons of the north which i play on occasion,its ok.. nothing spectacular and fades out a bit towards the end ..the demo that you picked up might be worth checking out i suppose... probably alot better stuff around though

I was thinking about getting that opressor on lp but i think you convinced me to get the cd insted since it comes with the demos. Nile is one of the first death metal bands I got into so always excited whenever they put out a new record,still waiting for my vinyl copy of the new one but have herd it online and of course it rules.

I haven't listened to the new Nile yet, but I expect it to be at least GOOD. I don't think I'd rate any of their albums less than 7/10. They're very consistent.

Consolation are ace , as are Nembrionic. Dark T - Gallery is the last one I liked. I do like Ministry, got all their albums - got a soft spot for em. Napalm are actually my fav band, love em. I am a big Ulver fan - sad to see the keyboard player committed suicide last week, totally unexpected. The new Nile is a banger !!!

Very sad about ulver though myself I stop at their black metal period. Consolation were a little goofy for me, I do prefer Nembrionic. The Minds I is still great DT.
