Chris I'm trying to build a parallel cable robot to 3D print houses. How do the kinematics get incorporated into the programing? In the firmware or the slicer? Will I need custom g code?

My father warned me to think carefully before allowing your "hobby" to become your occupation. Chris's robot arms might be an example?... Having the enjoyment of creating such a great project is very satisfying. Setting up accounts, supply chains, engineering production runs, attending to inane requests from time-wasters, etc. etc. may not be nearly as satisfying. For some people, the end result can be unwanted stress, and the destruction of your favourite pastime. Chris appears to have achieved a good balance, and has done a huge amount to help other like-minded people... he deserves as much enjoyment as possible as well.

All I knew when I ordered mine was I wanted to learn more about robotics. After building it and getting some basic programing under my belt. All I can say is I wish I wouldnt have waited so long! Thanks AGAIN Chris!

Yeah the Chinese counterfeiting is out of control, everyone's dealing with it. Frustrating part is eBay, Google, Amazon and others don't do anything about it. Even when I provide copyrights and trademark documents most of the time they tell me I don't have the right, and if I am able to get any ads taken down the counterfeits keep getting reposted the next week.

@@shivammaheshwari7760 the maximum payload of the robot is 1.9kg . It's possible to put in larger motors if you need to but there would need to be some redesign of the components to mount the larger motors.

I got a Wen df480ix that already does propane that comes with its own regulator hose and quick connect to the generator. Do you think I can just feed regulated NG to the propane connection port and just adjust the gas block without messing with the carburator?
