Awesome update. This robot arm is one of the reasons I'm building my own CNC that can mill aluminium.

Very cool, Chris! I've started printing the covers, to your specs, and everything is perfect, first try! I'll be buying some parts from you very soon. Cheers!

This is a great project. Congratulations on how far you have brought it along in a relatively short period of time! We are on the cusp of PR (personal robots) becoming commonplace much like PC (personal computers) did. The AR4 reminds me of the Apple II back around 1979. The AR4 is essentially ready for mainstream use, yet potential users haven't quite grasped this new reality. In another decade or two robots will be washing dishes in some people's houses and folding their laundry.

what applications can we do at industrial level using AR4? ...just curious coz I'm an industrial robot engineer
@anninrobotics2 жыл бұрын
I've seen the robot used for many applications, it can lift 4lbs and is probably best suited for picking and tending applications as far as that goes. its not IP rated so I wouldn't put in in a wet or extremely dirty environment.
