In this case the question is WHY. That input gear is all chewed up and ready to explode. Surprisingly you can weld an input shaft and they generally live. I have used shortened ones for decades. And one with a different spline also. But not broken like that one. The metal is all fatigued. Simply cut, tapered a little and welded with the correct electroces which is important. Then left in a box of sand to delay cooling. I have seen one that broke along side the weld. But high horsepower engines with high rpm will test a patched item. Anything behind the input though is un repairable. People try but it is dumb. This has engine power and torque, and out put shaft will have a factor of say 4. A rear axle will be worse with say 4-1 first gear multiplied by at least 3. Amazing anything lives! Welding those teeth up will be an explosion very soon,, 2 gears are supposed to MESH not sort of bounce around with each other. The way he 'repaired' that shaft. Hmmmm you have high grade tempered steel welded to mild steel bar. What could go wrong?? Then he polished up the surfce where the bearing was pressed onto, now a few thou smaller so the bearing will just slide over and rattle. All this must be to make a video,, the total lack of engineering is a joke.

Your still up to that nonsense of "breaking" parts to "fix" them again!😢 Keep it real - BTW I still gave a thumbs up to help! 👍

MUY LINDA LA PRESENTACION FINAL PERO CONSIDERO QUE ESE TRABAJO NO PUEDE DURAR MUCHO . LA PIEZA ORIGINAL ESTA PEGADA , NO SOLDADA . NO SE PROFUNDIZO EN ELLA COMO PARA QUE ENTRARA EL MATERIAL . LA PRESION EN LA PUNTA DE EJE ES CONTRARIA A EL SUNCHO QUE LE HICIERON OSE QUE LA RESISTENCIA DE ESTE ES MUY LINITADA . OJALA ME EQUIVOQUE PERO PIENSO QUE ESE TRABAJO DURA MUY POCO .
