Beam is one of the more difficult apparatus because of its height off ground and narrow width 3.9 in some mounts aren't as commonly seen now as they were a few decades ago such as handstand mounts like the Silivas or the Phillips its like some versions of the Yurchenko Vault are more popular then others for instance you don't see Women do the Phelps as much as you see them do the Cheng or Amanar the 2.5 Twisting version named for Simona Amanar of Romania in 2000 the last person to Attempt a triple twisting Yurchenko was Hong Un Jong of North Korea in 2016 and she landed on her rear end leading to the skill be devalued to an Amanar though she became the first North Korean Woman to win a Vault Medal at the Olympics Silver score 15.685

Thank you again, @Sophia, for another fun and interesting gymnastics skill breakdown. I noticed your off-hand comment about how much you love giants on the uneven high bar. As a former gymnast for 20-years myself, I fully agree...only on the men's high bar. I LOVED doing those! If I may suggest something, it might help your non-gymnast viewers to better understand what you mean by "my good hand" and "my bad hand", by defining how this is related to twisting moves. I am right-handed, but I've always twisted/tumbled/turned to the left in gymnastics. Many right-handed gymnasts twist/tumble/turn to the right. As an example, imagine doing a simple roundoff leading into a set of flip-flops. Which hand do you put down first? My left hand is first because I tumble left. This is my natural-feeling direction of twist, therefore, my "good hand" would be my left in this situation.
