PassCode was influenced by Babymetal actually. Before the vocalist Nao Minami showed their manager/song writer/music producer, Koji HIrachi, Babymetal they did quirky j-pop that was infused with bits and pieces of electronicore but after that they switched full time to electronicore. Koji wasn't completely sure that they could continue doing the entire idol thing if they went full electronicore but after seeing Babymetal and the ladies saying they were fine with it they switched. The guys in this video are the ones that tour and record in the studio. They aren't in every video but they are at every live. They even brought a live band from Japan to the states for their three US shows. They are also the first, or at least one of the first, 'core style groups with female harsh vocals to get signed to a major label and gain mainstream attention. There were bands in the underground scene but they never really made it anywhere and couldn't really sustain themselves. There is a reason why none of the Babymetal ladies do harsh vocals.

I agree; it is a soulful and powerful performance. The man has great talent. However, with respect, the original song was written by Dolly Parton and originally released as a chart-topping country hit by Dolly in 1974. Whitney Houston covered it in the 1992 film The Bodyguard and then had a very successful single of that version.
