Just found your podcast. Only one year late. I intend to watch your later episodes as well. I’m knitting an Oksa sweater in nutiden held with a lace strand.

I have not been on youtube in so long - so nice to catch up with your video! I loved your pressed flowers shawl - I am hoping to make one soon. Do you remember how many skeins of the green color you used? I know you mentioned a sweater quickly... are you planning on going to Rhinebeck this year?

Hi Madison, Love your podcast. I was at the Maryland Sheep and Wool Saturday also. It was my second time there, looove it! Also did most of my shopping in the main exhibition hall, due to the rain, Junction fiber, Bare Naked, Jill Draper. Hit the Green Mountain Spinnery tent also. I would love to learn to spin and weave. You are a true fiber artist, multi talented!! I think you mentioned in one episode a class you took in weaving or spinning. I also live in NY (Brooklyn) I would love a tip on how you started. Anyhoo, I recently completed the Kerti by Orlane Sucche., if looking for a good Rhinebeck knit. Great pattern, so fun and came out beautiful! It will be my first time going to Rhinebeck this year. Now knitting on baby blankets for family members expecting. (Petite pins, and All the Memories) ps if looking for a great pattern for mini skein fade, I recommend That Nice Stitch. My friend bought me a present of 10 mini skeins and it came out beautiful! Anyhoo, will keep watching and maybe run into you in Rhinebeck. Happy knitting ;))

Thank you!! The Kerti is definitely in my queue ☺️ for weaving workshops, I’ve taken a few from Catskill Weaving School. They have a Brooklyn studio too and they’re great!!! See you at Rhinebeck 🤗

For the Ingrid sweater I just skipped the decreases in the diamond section of the pattern to avoid the weird pattern issues and it turned out totally fine with the added plus that I’m not annoyed by the messy pattern

I love your Pressed Flowers Cardigan! The colors are beautiful and set against the green, it reminds me of a field of wildflowers in spring. A quick note on stuffies for babies. You may know this already, apologies if so, but safety eyes aren't recommended for children under 3 years old for safety reasons. I thought I saw them on Hazel, so I figured I'd write a comment. I usually embroider the face when giving a stuffy to the toddler in my life and it can look really cute.

I love your handspun sooooo much! Its beautiful. Take heart, the sweater curse is NOT real. I really like that pattern as well, Albiona is a masterful designer. Her sweaters are so versatile and creative. I think maybe your boyfriends sweater color can be described as the color "Fawn". That color name is used al lot to describe natural lighter taupe browns for raw natural wools. It really does look like a true Fawn colorway. Lovely work, and so inspiring!

You could give just the cute animals and then for their one year you could give the clothes for the bears to the twins! I feel like it'd be a super cute way to keep loving the animals and get the twins to interact with them more 😍 congrats on keeping up with your knitting a sock a month - that's a feat already! Hello from Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 I made it to the end!! Really enjoyed seeing all your projects. I am interested in all the same crafty endeavours as you - knitting, spinning, weaving….and the rest! I too have been overwhelmed with my number of knitting projects so gave myself a stern talking to this weekend about having to finish some things off!!! I think the 3 project rule might be the way forward for me too! Keeps some variety but feel like we’re achieving something. I’ve been processing a fleece too. So exciting. Sometimes I do think I’m interested in just tooo many things though! 😅

The spindles are gorgeous! I can totally see how you have to have them all. I am not allowing myself to go anywhere near other fiber arts at this point in my life. I would fall soooo deep into any spinning, weaving and fiber rabbit hole. I am very deep into the yarn and knitting one and that has to be enough until my three kids are out of the house (which will probably be in 20 years considering that we life in a very expensive city...😬 I was going to say that I have Solvanda leftovers if you need it but I see you finished your Nutiden sweater. Loooove Nutiden! I hope your boyfriend is happy. I am about to start a hoody in nutiden for my husband. If he isn't appreciating it enough I'll steal it back!
