Nutiden also adds a small amount of incense to their yarn, as well as cedar wood and lavender essential oils, so that's partly what you're smelling as well. You can buy single plates of the yarn, but they limit it to 2 per order.

Congratulations to your first episode! Beautiful FOs. I love nutiden yarn and have used it a lot the last couple of years or so. The smell and feel of the yarn is so soothing to me and I love how versatile it is. I've used the exact same colorway to knit at 23 and 14 sts/10 cm using 1 and 2 strand respectively with beautiful results. Looking forward to seeing your first nutiden project!

Hey Madison- great first podcast! I get to sometimes knit with your sister Paige at Yarn Social in KC and she told me about your podcast yesterday..............what a great treat! And now I see you posted episode 2 just a few hours ago, YAY!! I have fallen down the unspun rabbit hole and am doing a test knit with Nutiden now, almost done using Manchelopi for another test knit and I am hooked! Your sweaters are gorgeous as well, I am stuck on trying to pick colors for the Aplenglow and just can't seem to decide so........put it aside for now. I am excited to see what your ventures to the Vermont and NY Sheep and Wool festivals bring, needless to say I am jealous. Nice to meet you and hang out.

Hi Madison, I'm Jacqueline and I am a Canadian living in Tokyo. I enjoyed your first podcast - you did a great job! Your colorwork sweater is gorgeous and I love the colors you chose. I love to knit all the things and I am currently working on a bright red Hipster hat by Petite Knits using Brooklyn Tweed Peerie in Fireblush. I love using Peerie for hats! Of course I always have a sock on the go and the one I am working on is a vanilla sock in NBK BFL and Nylon. Your balaclava is going to be so cute! Have seen some knit nutiden held with a mohair or silk or alpaca, the other yarn gives structure and helps it to stop breaking.

Hi, I love your podcast! Great job with your speaking. I'm from Poland, my English is only communicative, but I can understand you clearly. Thank you. Some recommendations below :) The yarn stores I go to the most are: - Downtown Yarns (East Village, Manhattan) - West Village Knit & Needle (West Village, Manhattan) - Knitty City (Upper West Side, Manhattan) - Brooklyn General Store (Cobble Hill, Brooklyn) For coffee shops, I like Plant Shed or Maman - both have a few locations, and Maman also has really great lunch and pastries. I'd also recommend Levain (for their cookies) or Magnolia Bakery (for their banana pudding and cheesecake), if you're looking for a sweet treat.

Thank you! Plotulopi can be found quite a few places online (here's one! www.yarn.com/products/lopi-plotulopi) and Nutiden can be found on their website (www.honerocheir.nu/), but they only have occasional shop updates so I'd recommend following them on Instagram too. :)

Nope! Their shop updates are open to all (although I think Patreon members get early access?). Just have to be quick because they usually sell out pretty fast. :)
