Carlos's phrasing is always perfect. I love the breaths he uses, like the guitar is singing instead of being played. That got me in 1969 at woodstock and it still does.

Creci escuchandolo en el radio y los cassettes de mi padre , sus notas entre olor a cafe el sonido de la maquina de wscribir de mi padre y los niños riendo en el patio , gracias por estar en mis recuerdos ❤

Before I saw this I watched 10 videos of guitar players in order to "show me how to play like Santana" who arguably actually had better sound and technique, but then you see the rawness and heart of the master himself do it - and there's no comparison

i absolutely love Santana's music and still have a lot of his records in my collection. I have to agree with many comments i've seen, that the tone is simply unpleasant. It is also not like any of the Santana tones i'm used to from his records which are sweet and slightly saturated. This just sounds harsh and unpleasant. It doesnt really matter if the problem is the amp or the mic or whatever else. This is a product which is for sale and the tone will put off potential buyers. God bless you Carlos thank you for your music ❤

I still think they stole this tune from a 1960s TV commercial: "Stronger than Dirt" (Ajax laundry detergent).
It looks like the same location used by Rolling Stone magazine to shoot the cover with Carlos on it.

Lyrics: I look at you all, see the love that's there sleeping While my guitar gently weeps I look at the floor and I see it needs sweeping Still, my guitar gently weeps I don't know why nobody told you How to unfold your love I don't know how someone controlled you They bought and sold you I look at the world and I see it is turning While my guitar gently weeps With every mistake, we must surely be learning Still, my guitar gently weeps I don't know how you were diverted You were perverted too I don't know how you were inverted No one alerted you I look at you all, see the love that's there sleeping While my guitar gently weeps (I look at you all) all Oh, still, my guitar gently weeps Hey, yeah, yeah (While my guitar gently weeps) Yeah, yeah (Still, my guitar gently weeps) Yeah (While my guitar gently weeps)
