nice video, 'im surprised that most of your important pieces in your collections are fixed blades when your production is mostly known for folders.

I'm really liking this new offering. Seems much like a very upgraded take on the TwoSuns ST 129 which is one of my all time favorite blade shapes. I think you and I could have a very enjoyable conversation. Bob T. was one of my many Guild signers which I from advice from My Mentor Bog Loveless decided not to join. It had become something totally different than what the founders envisioned. Sadly, it led to its implosion. A real Shame on many levels. Much like you, bout many years earlier I saw a magazine with a bunch of nice knives stuck in a log. Several really caught my attention. There was a Jimmy Lile hunter, who later became a good friend, a George Herron, another great friend, and oh boy, that Loveless Stag Dropped Hunter. I was all of about 14 or 16 year old and knew exactly what I wanted to do with y life. Fast forward another 30 years or so of making knives, I was ask to come out from texas to riverside CA. to the Loveless Shop. Mr. Bob and Jim Merritt wanted to talk to me adn ask why so many of my knives look like LoveLess Knives. Not unusual as many copy them. but my answer was a little different I guess. I told them that no matter how hard I tired to not look like a Loveless, when it looked right and felt right, It always came out to be a very similar knife. I stopped fighting it! Well, turned out they knew my work and they were kinda winding down and were looking for someone to come in and carry on so to speak. And the rest is history. Many collectors didn't like the new Loveless Connection knives think I was just trying to make a buck on the Loveless name. What we hadn't told anyone is that these Knives were the beginning of the relationship with the Loveless shop. Mr. Bob didn't think it was any of their business a the time until I moved out there to work in their shop. I was set to stay at Jim's place for at leas the first year. Tragically, my Wife came down with a life threatening Autoimmune disease and I couldn't make the move as I became her home care provider and it took all my time. bot Mr. Bob and Jim understood perfectly, but I feel guilty to this day. it destroyed my carrier. GRRRRR!!! But it was in no way my Wifes fault. She was in bad shape and Family comes first. Period. I pretty much disappeared from the Knife World with no one knowing why. I guess I became rather withdrawn and embarrassed to have Let the Loveless Shop down with such a huge honor. I do feel guilty to this day. I have been watching your work and I am impressed. I am not easily impressed! Good Work Sir! If you should see ken Onion. again, tell him I said Howdy from Texas! I'm sure he has no idea what happened to me. …

Anso and Vox two of my favorites, no wonder GM is so great. Love the blade shape, that little hook on the tip reminds me of my TS129. One of my favorite designs.
