I know the shortcut to show the battery level on the keys, but when I have the keeb plugged in, the light underneath the battery icon is red and it's been red for hours (more than 5 a this point). Will it ever go green or does it just stay red as long as it's plugged in?

I threw these Creamy Purple Pros into an ergodox, replacing Kailh Speed Gold switches and it's a night/day difference. The Creamy Purple Pros make me want to keep typing; they feel extremely satisfying to use and aren't obnoxiously clacky. Excellent switches.

Pe foam and stock sounded the best to my ears. Anytime I see this board on KZbin it never disappoints. It’s definitely one of my top favorites.

You can definitely hear some slight scratchiness when you typed. Especially the right side of the spacebar you can hear it. And it kinda sounds a bit hollow to me. This specific board seems to have some problems bc it isn’t the first one I’ve seen like this. YUNZII definitely has some great boards that are better then this one.

That’s definitely the best sounding Reddragon kb I’ve seen. Especially the stabs, they usually are very rattly

I think 1, 2 and 4 kept the best sound especially with the spacebar. The Top mount you could really hear the ping through the whole board. But besides that you have built a very beautiful board with that sexy anodized blue and then the white caps compliment it very nicely. Plus the sound can’t forget that lol 👌👏

I own a keychron v3 max and was wondering if it is necessary to mod the keyboard. Some say that the v max series don't need modding from factory.

Mine has a terrible rattle on the space key, definitely going to mod that one. Other than that I'm happy with it. Then again I'm not too deep in the mech keyboard rabbit hole yet, this is only my second one.

the metallicky recoil sound when the key hits the board is awful and since you cant switch any of it because it is custom built for this board, thats an absolute no no.

I love this keyboard! I really like the retro aesthetic it has. If I really get tired of the color I guess I'll mod it or something but this thing is amazing. I just can not seem to get it to work with VIA software.

Thanks for a thorough beginners modding video. Are the switches the same as at the start of the video, so the sound difference one those is just from the added foam?
