I have the BROTHER 5350DN and it makes a narrow line along thw A4 paper without printing in this. I noticed that in surface of the hot cylinder there is something very think like black paper which has removed at this point. I am not sure whether this is normal or there is something stacked after some years of printer use. I remember from the past 30 years that the HOT CYLINDER is a cylinder of glass without of any coat... Am I right?

Hi. I'm changing a fuser belt on my MPC2500 and, since there is no lubrication pad, I was wondering whether I should also apply some lubricant to the oil roller? I know that in proper maintanance procedure it should be changed altogether, but its just not worth the money for such an old machine. So do you think its better to put some lube on it or just leave it as it is?

Can't find these part numbers. It's driving me nuts. Easy to find with Lexmark, Xerox, HP, Canon, Sharp, etc. But not ricoh. They're a special type of copier brand 😂

Hello, thanks for the help. I have the same printer but it makes faint lines horizontally on A3 paper from one edge to the other, the lines repeat every 94mm or so, about 4 streaks per page and they are perpendicular (90 degrees) to feeding direction. I cleaned the transfer belt cleaning blade as shown in the video and emptied the waste toner bottle but it still makes those faint lines, what else should i do? Than you beforehand.

That’s not how that box works. There is an Optical sensor that when toner fills up with waste in the clear window it triggers the prepare waste bottles soon. Then if you don’t and it gets COMPLETELY full the motor that drives the auger running thru the bottle will get to hard to turn and the motor senses this stopping the machine forcing you to replace the waste box. Pro Tip: NEVER SHAKE OR TRY TO EMPTY THIS BOX! The box has spring loaded seals that keep the waste from spilling during removal. You may get lil to fall out but all your doing is tricking the machine to think you replaced it. All the waste will then back up into machine destroying your transfer cleaner, sometimes the belt. Then if you keep running it the waste will back up into each color unit locking them up destroying them. And unless you own that machine and no longer have a service contract don’t ever go into that service mode. That is for trained techs and one number change on the wrong setting and you have destroyed your machine and a tech will have no idea what numbers you messed with. There are 1000s. I don’t believe TOSHIBA will want you putting these protected codes out there. This is why they constantly have to be changed now they are not for public access.

Yellow prints misaligned from the other colors. All items print with a yellow shadow. You can see it on the calibration sheet, the yellow bars are not aligned with the ends of the black, cyan and magenta. I would toss that junk Toshiba copier in the trash dumpster and buy a nice used Ricoh or Canon.
