Hadley, I have a Brother L6200DW and I've put in a new drum even cleaned it again, cleaned the fuser and I'm still getting marks on the center of my Letter sized pages. Surprisingly nothing happens to the legal size copies. What am I missing here? My Printer is almost 4 years old. Thanks, Andre

I have an older, MFC, is the fuser changing process pretty much the same? Also, I was told the fuser is the the reason why the toner is not adhering to the paper and smudges off.

Hello, thanks for the help. I have the same printer but it makes faint lines horizontally on A3 paper from one edge to the other, the lines repeat every 94mm or so, about 4 streaks per page and they are perpendicular (90 degrees) to feeding direction. I cleaned the transfer belt cleaning blade as shown in the video and emptied the waste toner bottle but it still makes those faint lines, what else should i do? Than you beforehand.

That’s not how that box works. There is an Optical sensor that when toner fills up with waste in the clear window it triggers the prepare waste bottles soon. Then if you don’t and it gets COMPLETELY full the motor that drives the auger running thru the bottle will get to hard to turn and the motor senses this stopping the machine forcing you to replace the waste box. Pro Tip: NEVER SHAKE OR TRY TO EMPTY THIS BOX! The box has spring loaded seals that keep the waste from spilling during removal. You may get lil to fall out but all your doing is tricking the machine to think you replaced it. All the waste will then back up into machine destroying your transfer cleaner, sometimes the belt. Then if you keep running it the waste will back up into each color unit locking them up destroying them. And unless you own that machine and no longer have a service contract don’t ever go into that service mode. That is for trained techs and one number change on the wrong setting and you have destroyed your machine and a tech will have no idea what numbers you messed with. There are 1000s. I don’t believe TOSHIBA will want you putting these protected codes out there. This is why they constantly have to be changed now they are not for public access.

Are the parameters in PM a counter for components?

You will spend 350.00 on a belt only to find that the unit itself is bad. Best to buy a new unit for 595.00

Yellow prints misaligned from the other colors. All items print with a yellow shadow. You can see it on the calibration sheet, the yellow bars are not aligned with the ends of the black, cyan and magenta. I have done both the calibration and registration multiple times with no improvement. Can you help me fix that?

Hoping you are still there. I had this problem and it was solved. But I cannot log into the admin panel. Is there a secret back doorway of resetting the admin log in on a Ricoh Afcio 2022? None of the online answers work.

I would toss that junk Toshiba copier in the trash dumpster and buy a nice used Ricoh or Canon.

33 years with Toshiba and it still amazes me they don't take the CUSTOMER in consideration when building machines. I guess the people that push the cartridges in too hard, must of had the 3040 series that if you didn't push them in hard enough, they would pop out. 😉
