That’s a real tough question! I haven’t driven the E 450 (we don’t have that in Singapore) but I’ve tried the same engine in the CLE and it’s a gem. Sounds great, pulls hard… I love it! But an X3 and E-Class comparison is really apples-to-oranges. Do you have a lot of stuff to carry (like mountain bikes)? How about kids to drive around? How much do you value a more traditionally posh interior, like the E 450’s? I think it’ll come down to whether you need the extra space of an SUV. If you don’t, it’ll come down to what you think of the BMW’s minimalist interior versus the Mercedes’ more traditional cabin
@sasquatch7962
@sasquatch7962 2 күн бұрын
@@MrChiaSG thanks for answer. In short I don't need so much space (one kid etc..). For me all comes down to : sitting position (higher..) ,ground clerance , b58 vs 6cyl.in merc ,quality of materials inside the cabin or easy of use multimedia… Anyway based on your experience (you drive a lot of cars..) what would you choose for yourself and why (between these two)?

Hi wanted to know which is better Kia Niro hybrid , Hyundai Kona or Toyota Corolla Cross for long term purchase.
@MrChiaSG
@MrChiaSG 21 күн бұрын
Hi there, that's a good question. When choosing between them I'm guessing you consider factors like size, boot space, fuel efficiency, and warranties to be important? Here's a breakdown to help you make the best choice. Size and Dimensions In terms of overall size, the Toyota Corolla Cross is the largest of the three, with a length of 4,460 mm, giving it a more substantial presence on the road. It’s also the tallest at 1,620 mm, which may provide a higher driving position and better visibility. The Kia Niro Hybrid is slightly shorter at 4,420 mm, but it has the longest wheelbase at 2,720 mm, offering more interior space, especially for rear passengers. The Hyundai Kona Hybrid is the most compact, measuring 4,350 mm in length and 1,570 mm in height. This makes it a great choice for those who want something nimble for city driving. Boot Space If boot capacity is a priority, the Hyundai Kona Hybrid comes out on top with a boot size of 466 litres, which expands to 1,300 litres with the rear seats folded down. The Kia Niro Hybrid is not far behind with 451 litres of space, while the Toyota Corolla Cross offers 425 litres of boot space. So, while the Corolla Cross is the largest in overall size, it provides the smallest cargo capacity. Fuel Efficiency When it comes to fuel consumption, the Kia Niro Hybrid leads with an impressive 4.0 L/100 km, making it the most fuel-efficient option. The Hyundai Kona Hybrid follows closely at 4.7 L/100 km, while the Toyota Corolla Cross consumes more at 5.3 L/100 km. If saving on fuel costs is important to you, the Niro is the best choice. Warranty Comparison All three cars offer 5-year warranties, but there are some differences: - Kia Niro Hybrid: Covered for 5 years or 100,000 km, whichever comes first. The hybrid battery is backed by a 10-year warranty with unlimited mileage. This warranty is transferable if the car is sold within the warranty period. - Hyundai Kona Hybrid: Like the Kia, Hyundai offers a 5-year or 100,000 km warranty with a 10-year hybrid battery warranty and unlimited mileage. It’s also transferable to a new owner. - Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid: Toyota provides a longer general warranty of 5 years or 130,000 km. However, the hybrid battery warranty, while covering 10 years, is limited to 200,000 km. This is less flexible compared to Kia and Hyundai’s unlimited mileage coverage. To conclude, I'd say the Kia Niro Hybrid excels in fuel efficiency and offers (marginally) the longest wheelbase, making it ideal for drivers who want more interior space and lower fuel costs. The Hyundai Kona Hybrid offers the most cargo room and compact size, making it perfect for city driving. Meanwhile, the Toyota Corolla Cross stands out with its larger dimensions and a more generous general warranty, but slightly less fuel efficiency and cargo space. Each car has its strengths, so your choice should depend on your specific needs-whether it's more space, better fuel economy, or a stronger warranty. If you want to arrange a test drive, let me know! Happy to help :)

I used to drive the bigger e-tron for my boss and I have to say, I'm very very disappointed with Audi's approach to their EVs. A lot of money for not a lot of EV. A lot of stuff adapted from their petrol range and not designed from the ground up as an EV. And for it's much bigger size than the Q4 e-tron (theoretically can fit a larger battery), its range of only 300km is pathetic. Their competitors offer so much more in their EVs for about the same money, and if one is not fixated on getting a continental EV, you can get all that and more with significant change to spare. I love the Audi petrol cars but their offerings in the EV market is.......less than meh for me.
@MrChiaSG
@MrChiaSG Ай бұрын
I think that's fair, and good feedback for Audi. It's looking more and more like the first e-tron was really a stopgap EV for the brand. I have to say, the e-tron GT is pretty dope, and the latest cars are on a bespoke EV platform, so their range and space packaging are way better.
