Worst tech ever

I bought my Power Glove back in april of 2022 and I still didn't got it to work when I turn it on all of the red lights turn on and stay on the d-pad and start select buttons doesn't respond and when I play mike tyson's punch out specifically the glove just press start twice and when I get to the first fight the inputs that the glove do are two high punches, dodge and that's it. today when I tested the glove again I found out that when pres the program button the d-pad buttons beep when I press them exept for the start and select I tried to fix it but nothing worked any tips?

Are these games pre-loaded? I want to play pokemon on my TV but I’m unsure if I buy one of these I’ll need to buy additional cartridges.

And what I don’t understand is if the Dreamcast was built with the ability to play this type of disc why would it be bad for it? Is it also bad to put this same type of disc in with music on it? And if not then why? What’s the difference?

My issue is I have a model 0 Dreamcast. It won’t play Josh prod burned games. But I got half life for it on ebay and obviously that was burned and that works fine. It also reads the cheats n codes volume 1 disc which is also a burned disc. Wtf is going on with this thing?

I have a burned copy of the WebCD disc... My laser does sound like it was jumping around, but seemed to not after a while, and would only move and read discs when needed

I fixed my lag by adjusting the settings on the NES classic and my TV. The NES is set to pixel, and my TV is in game mode. That got rid of most of the lag. The NES classic is playable now.

Oh man you were so lucky that you didn't murder death kill that poor TIA chip and they're getting really hard to get hold of now too. I won't repeat the advice that others have given, as I know this was quite a while ago and I'm sure you know not to do it that way again, but I will say that it's a really good idea to take pictures before removing anything. That way when you go to replace anything, you've got a visual reference of which way around they go. On the plus side though, I'm really happy that you got to play Asteroids again. It's one of those awesome games that I'm truly awful at, lol.

What you were seeing on the board isn't corrosion it's caramelized flux. Flux is used for soldering to get better joints that don't oxidize and if you don't clean off the remaining flux after soldering, it looks like that. You can clean it off with isopropyl alcohol.

the latency problem is quite complicated in 8 bits ALL ! , at 16 it's a little less and almost imperceptible, but it slows down the player's performance.

Thanks dude this helped I dont have the exact power adapter you have, I have a TOMEE brand one, but by trying 4 total power adapters including one original Nintendo brand one for NES that one gave the least wavy lines and best picture quality. I might pick up the one you have just to try. It's harder for me to find the problem because my current setup has the nes going through a retro tinc and then going into an mclassic and then going into a 4k capture device for my PC. (edit- the TOMEE one gave me the least problems.)
