Something seems wrong here, 5.0 should destroy the powerstoke. 2023 specs say 5.9 0-60 or 5.0L and 6.8 0-60 for 6.7 PS. Different planets.
@drewsgarage155811 ай бұрын
i would have to disagree here. the 6.7, when tuned properly, is an animal. hard to beat with a stock gas engine.
@jamesm246411 ай бұрын
I am very familiar with both engines, the 6.7 has no shot giant a current 5.0. OZ and 5 Star E-85 tunes on the 2021+ F-150 5.0 are 4.7-4.9 seconds 0-60 consistent
@drewsgarage155811 ай бұрын
@@jamesm2464 the 5.0 was not tuned at the time. completely stock. if tuned then yes i would expect to see it take the 6.7.

Does anyone know if this motor in this truck is any good for a turbo with some boost?
@JA-no1qk Жыл бұрын
I haven't read into it deep, but IIRC they do alright with a small amount of boost (4-6 pounds maybe?). Everywhere I read says cams aren't worth it on these.

It still runs fine But I feel a ticking time 💣 😔 we're old retired and live in our camper home base Florida Any suggestions thank 6.0 ugh Any tips or

I’m interested in building a similar setup with the morimoto kit. I’m curious if you’ve tried the headlights that have the led lights around the edges of the buckets, and If they look good. I’ve never seen them in person, but would like to keep the shape of the lights so it’s not just two dots in the dark like everything else on the road.

Here's a great tip for you - Don't follow Ford's time interval for the oil change as it's way to long. Get into the habit of changing it 3 to 5 thousand km to keep the varnish down and out. Get yourself up to speed and watch Brian's channel on you tube called { FordTechMakulocal } He's a great technician that used to work for Ford. Now he's a private technician that still works on fords and has awesome video's dealing with the 5.4L 3Valve that is prone to have many problems. I found his advice very cost saving and got me up to speed on what to look out for like{ the Roller Followers } failures causes/ and other issues. These trucks are great in what they are capable of doing but need a lot of TLC to keep them going and Brian is one of the best for knowing of the issues and how to diagnose and repair. So take the time and educate yourself and you'll be glad you did...
