I had thyroid cancer in 2011 & I had a total thyroidectomy. I take 88 mcg Synthroid, the brand, Monday-Friday & on Saturday & Sunday I take 44 mcg, I split the pill in half. I never feel 100% & I have fatigue, I’m foggy and achy, and some hair loss. I’m due in August 2024 for my yearly bloodwork & visit with endocrinologist. What are my options?

Some of the thyroid medications that I have taken cuz I'm hypo and it gives me heart palpitations. I would love to know more about the cream. I have never even heard of it and I've had thyroid issues for years. I'd love to stop taking it first thing in the morning before coffee before everything else and wait till that absorbs.

Correct me if I'm wrong - I'm sure you all will have no problem with that😂. Carnivore diet may "fix" our problem or system health wise for a while BUT Canivore shouldn't be done long, long term because we will be missing out on important nutrition in fruits and vegetables. Waiting 😂

I have been diagnosed with Hashimoto's. I still have a "normal" TSH but high TPO and thyroglobulin antibody tests. I started the autoimmune diet a year ago, eliminating gluten, dairy, soy, and nightshades. I am doing some better but still have symptoms. I would say I am in stage 3. I am not on thyroid hormone.

Thank you Doctor for your informative video 🙏🏼 I think I was in stage 1 and know I am in stage 2 thanks to God. My journey began with dizziness and unusual hair loss, which prompted me to undergo routine blood tests. Fortunately, my doctor recommended testing my thyroid function (TSH, T3, T4), and the results indicated elevated TSH levels (8) with high antibodies. He suggested I might have Hashimoto's thyroiditis and advised me to see a specialist and start a gluten-free diet. After two months on the diet, my TSH level rose to 12. Seeking further guidance, I consulted three different specialized doctors. The first recommended waiting two more months, while the other two advised starting medication. I chose to wait, and two months later, my TSH level dropped to 6. I felt better, and my hair loss decreased slightly with the help of hair and nail vitamins. Three months later, another blood test showed my antibodies were at 1000, with a TSH level still at 6. One doctor suggested starting medication, but I declined, knowing it would be a lifelong commitment. Another doctor confirmed there was no immediate need for medication. Before watching your video, I was confident in my decision. Now, I feel more informed and reassured. Thank you again for your helpful insights.

Hey Westin, doesn’t myoinositol help with hypothyroidism? What’s the dosage that I should take to improve my thyroid function? What’s the best form of myo-inositol? I thought I would hear information related to thyroid. But I didn’t hear a single mention. Hence the question. Thank you ahead and for this video! Pete ;”)

I've an elevated TSH of 13.16 (test done a week ago) with a normal T4 (I'm hypothyroid since 2013). I was put on 150 mcg of Levothyroxine for 2 years now, still TSH is elevated at 13 >. For the past few months, started experiencing episodes of tachycardia (thought might be due to high dose of levothyroxine, so had thyroid profile done with elevated TSH at 13.16). So just recently reduced the dose to 75 mcg, but still currently experiencing Tachycardia (my 24 hour Holter, BP and Treadmill are completely normal). I am 42 years old. I completely feel different with these palpitations, feel like I am going to die, shaky body, palms being cold, dizzy)

I feel as though my doctor will not listen to me. I have 5 tumors in my thyroid. I jave had them biopsied twice. Once in 2003 and then again 2023. The came back benign thankfully. I have went to him several times let him know that my symptoms are really impacting my life. I am the poster girl for every side effect except my tsh level. He said he won't treat due to my level being okay. Now I have a new one. My voice has changed. What do I do?

I’m just coming across this video and I’m practically in tears, I just recently requested to change Endocrinólogist because I was reversing diabetes and she told me not, I’ve been on levothyroxine 100mg for 6 years with no one wanting to change it seeing that the bloodwork is coming back “good” but I haven’t been able to lose weight and I have other issues as well. It’s so overwhelming not being able to trust a doctor. Thanks for this video.
