According to many experts as long as you are storing the cans in a stable setting and it isn't compromised, canned foods will last indefinitely.

That's the fragmentation point discussed near the end of the video. Our position has always been: penetration and BFD are far more deadly. Frag is always present and it's up to you to choose your level of mitigation. Base coat with a carrier is the minimum. Then you've got Build-Up and/or Frag Wraps. Both of those will further reduce frag.

If you're barely considering preparedness for any issue mentioned in the video, I'm sorry but you are way behind the curve. Not to say that it's to late to act, just start acting b4 it's too late.

These video are super good and I'm so glad I found them. Though I was disappointed to see you support immoral people after going to buy some armor off your website :( Edit: I guess finding that out was a good thing, cause it made me look through the comments more and educate myself on the downsides of steel armor; that makes this video feel more misleading than I initially thought.

Why not an AR9 or carbine that takes Glock mags alongside a Glock? That way you can focus on only carrying one type of ammo and you also have magazine compatibility between both firearms. Living in urban areas, it’s doubtful that you’ll need the longer range capability of 5.56 considering engagements will most likely be within 50-70 yards. I know it’s better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it. But just something to consider. What are your thoughts on this as an option?

0:26- right off the bat, you don’t need gear, you need KNOWLEDGE. Your mindset and knowledge paired with the creative ability to think outside the box will surpass the best gear. Don’t invest big money into gear when there’s going to be bodies laying all over with plenty of better gear ready for the picking. You need basic equipment and knowledge and that will help you acquire the things you’ll need to survive. I appreciate the work you and your staff do regardless of my little rant. Thanks for all you guys do.

The last part of the vid is the most important. First part just publicity. Investing so much in the moment the civilization stops working, but not in investing making it work is a sure way to make it fail. So how about forming a tribe with people around you (neighborhood), engaging in communal politics (where you can change something), repairing potholes (you don’t need a truck anymore), giving homeless people some food, if they help clean playgrounds (and give them a meaningful small occupation) etc. Such a tribe will form a much stronger community that is able to protect itself from much more than the end of civilization. If the world ends I will look for somebody who has all things You showed and whack him from behind with my tribe, because he is alone and has no eyes on the back of his head…It’s just stuff that costs and you can loose faster then it takes to hold it. Usually I look what happened after the hurricane in New Orleans: when it happens, You are at work, maybe Your house and/or car is already blown away or flooded, police blocks the streets in that direction and You can`t reach home…what then? You wish then to have a bunch of friendly people you can reach and that are willing to help you.

I thought just posting a sign that says "gun free zone" was enough for safety. :P For people that can't afford much (a few hundred dollars at most), I'd recommend a Rock Island Armory .38 Special revolver. If you can't afford lots of ammo to practice much, and want a simpler, low cost, but reliable gun, it is a good choice for close quarters. $260, plus a box of ammo, so around $300 total. One handgun significantly increases your chances of survival as opposed to having no gun at all, but hoping and imagining that someday you will afford $1,500+ for an AR, with optics, extra magazines, and plenty of practice ammunition too. If you can't afford the .38 Special, a framing hammer can be effective too. Your first prep in my opinion however, would be storing some drinking water and getting a life straw, along with medicine for illnesses, and some nuts (long shelf life and don't require cooking.

Hey brother , I’m type 1 diabetic and I’ve had to keep insulin safe for 14 days in my yeti cooler during hurricane Ian while my power was out. Thankfully I had access to ice so I was able to keep my insulin safe but something I’m concerned about is long term storage with no power or access to ice , do you have any tips or recommendations to keep it safe ?

Did I miss the filled water bottle in your “get home” bag? If it’s 115 degrees you might want to have some actual water with you not just a filter and a prayer that you’ll find a suitable and safe source to acquire it from.

How has nobody questioned how you plan to use your "land navigation tools" when you don't have a map? Do you think it's going to be a pickup item off the street? When's the last time you saw a map in public, let alone any map that you can use a protractor with? You wasted space in your bag with useless tools if you don't add your map. This absolutely shows level of knowledge.

Good luck, as a native New York citizen, the politicians and especially the police will never let you. The cops love being the only ones there with weapons and think they are the judge, jury and executioners of the citizens. They are government lapdogs to the nth degree, and they hate citizens and freedom. That's why I live in Florida now. Set your sights on a state you can help. It's sad really, my county always voted red, but the cesspool of NYC always controlled Albany.

I truly wish I knew good Christian men like you that believe in preparation yet it be a natural disaster or riots or our complete collapse of society and don’t tell me that’s not possible. It is 100% possible. We are the most in debt civilization in the history of mankind, how could anyone possibly know the future of a country that runs like this? Are used to view Christian men as weak until I started watching true patriot Warrior. I love your products. I bought the shooters cut A2 trauma pads front and back 6 inch sides with trauma pads and pads that surround the trauma pads, the whole nine unfortunately I am too tall for it. I have a very long torso. I’m 6’2 but have a longer torso than most men. I have to go to Carhartt to get shirts cause I need to get tall the extra 2 inches so use that rig for a lighter more easy to move around situation and save up for your. Black cam militia kit. 11x14 that is one good looking plate carrier and it will fit me. I don’t want my stomach shut up. I truly do believe you guys have the best body armor I mean, who would’ve thought you could have level four body armor that floats because if you gotta go swimming in your navy seal, that’s the coolest thing, I don’t know if you guys are gonna read this but if you could please pray for me to find a good group of Christian guys. I don’t even know where to go I mean, yeah obviously church but you don’t go to church and start talking about body armor, and guns, God bless you guys and your company you’re saving lives.

Buy a big bag and fill it full of med supplies to refill your IFAK. You need med to stop Diarrhea. It will kill you. Over the counter meds can be life savers. Aspirin. Aleve. Motrin. Pepto. First Aid cream. Water proof bandaids. Israeli trauma bandages in medium and large. Quick clot bandages to stop the bleeding. Good tourniquets. Galls Police supply.
