I agree "This Left Feels Right" is a terrible album. I put it on once after I got s copy for ¢.99 and never listened to it agsin. I don't know what they were thinking but that left feels so wrong!

I used to heavily dislike queen until I listened to their first three albums and specifically a song called Liar off the first album. Now I like them, though I never need to hear about 95% of their hits again

Stopped it as soon as I saw Detonator last which is their best imo

If you really wanna hear a clear and crunchier version of Twisted Sister, I suggest you find their first record EP release called “Ruff Cuts“. It consists of what you don’t know, under the blade and a few other classics.

I prefer the original mix, personally. Like you said, it's much heavier and more raw. Both versions are great tho! Great album war!

F*CK is my favorite overall VH album, but the nod has to go to VH1 based on impact and historical significance. Also prefer the production on VH, although F*CK was huge improvement over OU812. P.s. Dream is Over completely underrated song.

Yeah, had Love is for Suckers been the followup to Stay Hungry, it would have been a huge hit, and kept them higher on the scene somewhat longer-Come Out and Play was just such a dud that it really did them in

As a fan of both eras, I give VHII the edge. Never was a fan of Black and Blue (too long and slow), Finish What ya Started, Apolitical Blues. The weakest song off VHII was Bottoms Up and maybe Somebody get me a Doctor. The strong points on OU812 are great though, Source of Infection and Feels So Good.

You are correct in saying Mark Mendoza is a great bass player... never saw someone play like he does! I will always remember a guy at work (wayyyy back) saying the only TS song he knew was "Hot Love"... LOL Really? You never heard of "We're Not Gonna Take it" or even "I wanna Rock"? :) Good ranking!

These Days: I think Damned would’ve been pretty good. Crush: Just Older Captain Crash and the Beauty Queen From Mars I Got The Girl Bounce: Undivided would’ve been good. Have a Nice Day: Last Man Standing I Am Story of my Life Lost Highway: Any Other Day I Love This Town The Circle: Love’s The Only Rule I wouldn’t say there’s really any other songs that would’ve made good singles on What About Now. A lot of songs on Burning Bridges aren’t really that upbeat, but I think I’m Your Man would’ve been alright. Maybe Pink Floyd is an age thing? As a child of the 70s music scene (and stuff that goes with it) Pink Floyd was at the top of everyone's list. Most people would listen to them with no one around. Put on a good pair of headphones, get relaxed using something, turn out the lights, and fire up DSOM, Wish You Were Here, or Animals and groove.

I was listening years before VH ever even entered the scene. When they rearranged staff and got Sammy, I heard Love Comes Walking In, I never listened to them again. The band had changed. And AI mean Eddy to a different direction too. I didn't like it. So I can't comment with any objective opinion other than VH 2 is a super album. And it is hard for anyone to beat. I doubt I would like anything on OU812. So you probably are spot on.

VH2 and Fair Warning are my top 2. And as a guitarist I can say that Spanish Fly is amazing. Distortion can cover mistakes. Acoustic cannot

I think they're a big drop off from the previous albums . I think ou812 is one of the weakest VH albums bottom 3 for me. Vh2 easy 4 me. Ou812 is just weak all round imo . Fave songs Outta love again , Sucker in ac3 piece . Worst songs Black n blue / women in love Great review. ! ❤ from Australia
