It's not often Peter Criss solo album beats Gene's... :) (as a kid, the Gene solo was one of the first albums I ever got so I love it!) :)

I know I am in a minority, but Gene's 78 solo album is one of my favorites, not just of Kiss, but of all my CDs...See You Tonite, Nowhere to Hide, and Radioactive are great. Peter's was the only solo album I never bought, but judging by reviews over the years, I didnt miss much.

Destroyer KISS Love Gun Ace Frehley Rock n’ Roll Over That’s my top 5 KISS ALBUMS. Destroyer should’ve been in the top two. But everyone has their own opinion.

In my humble opinion I think "UNMASKED" is a solid album with good hooks, good songs and great melodies. It is an album of its time with the disco slick production, but as the decades have rolled on "UNMASKED" has become a favorite of mine. "ASYLUM"? Really? Geesh.

Destroyer is a marginal album… sound is muffled by pianos and overdubbed guitars. Drums sound weak. Worst of all, Sweet Pain and Great Expectations are horrible. Their best album is Rock and Roll Over followed by Love Gun.
