I'm not a huge RATT fan, but I'd certainly be among the first to argue that the musicianship was tight.

I also put Invasion as my favorite Ratt album! I think your list and mine are almost similar (except for the 1999 S/T and Detonator)... :) Good explanation of your rankings!

Great ranking! Gotta go with Out Of The Cellar at #1. Dancing Undercover is pretty underrated IMO Really dig Infestation from 2010 🤘

Infestation has grown on me over time but I always thought it was a good album....Eat Me Up Alive slays!

For me, they started off strong, and kinda got worse with every subsequent album. Not that any were "bad", just they just got weaker over time. Maybe 1 or 2 good songs per album after the first 2 albums. 5. Detonator Best song: Shame Shame Shame and Lovin' You Is A Dirty Job. That's really all that's memorable. Weak spots: I can't even say. Never listened to it much. 4. Reach For The Sky Best song: Way Cool, Jr. I Want A Woman. I kinda liked City To City, No Surprise and Bottom Line. Weak spots: Chain Reaction - Weak filler. 3. Dancing Undercover Best song: Slip Of The Lip, Dance. Body Talk is good, of course, but doesn't hold up as much over time. I think the appeal back then was the appearance in The Golden Child. Weak spots: It Doesn't Matter - Weak, sappy, filler. 2. Invasion Of Your Privacy Solid album all the way across. Aside from the hits, Between The Eyes is one of my favorites. Weak spots: Got Me On The Line and Closer To Your Heart: 1. Out Of The Cellar Pretty solid album all the way across. Favorites are the 3 radio hits. And those 3 hits are stronger than anything on their other albums, although Lay It Down is close. Scene Of The Crime is underrated. If I had to pick any filler, it's She Wants Money and I'm Insane.

@chrisb2535 songwise yr probably right . Their ended up being filler on each album but it was good filler. The debut didn't have any .

@themindseyecmh it's got that street wise thing and it just one of the greatest flowing albums ever. Invasion is just let down by a few avg songs on side be. Never use love n Between the eyes are exceptional though.

Stopped it as soon as I saw Detonator last which is their best imo

Haha funny i was 8 when my brother gave out of the celler i loved that shit until i discovered slayer pantera that was 1990 i still liked 80s glam but no way id tell anyone that in high school i went to school in the grunge explosion was awesome the death of glam in n my mind was just a victim of the rock revolution it was sad it died but the revolution was worth it in my mind grunge was the last true rock revolution no one will ever see that again it was seriously comparable to the Beatles it really was that big everything you heard about the importance of nirvana abd Seatle is pretty much true anyway i was a big ratt fan ine my all time favorite guitar riff is lay it down
