Osaka to Kyoto? By train better?
@7mrtravelКүн бұрын
From Osaka Station to Kyoto Station, the Special Rapid Train on the JR Kyoto Line is the best, which links the two major cities in only 28 minutes. There would be more useless things than taking Bullet Train between the stations. Paying an extra 20 US dollars, you can run faster, but it stops at the Shin-Osaka Station (Bullet Train station), where you need to spend 15 minutes changing to the local JR train or the Metro. Make sure the train that you are hopping on is "Special Rapid" because there is a tricky thing that another train type, "Rapid," stops too many stations, which is not rapid at all.

Always happy to see another Wakatakakage fan in the wild. My man should be a Komusubi for January's tournament. Shishi is probably stepping back to Juryo for January's tournament, but I am proud of his performance during his Makuuchi debut.

Always love watching your videos. Where is a good place to buy good old kimonos in Osaka?
@7mrtravel9 күн бұрын
There are several souvenir shops that have kimonos on Dotonbori Street. If you want to buy the best price, the antique flea market at Shitennoji Temple, held only on the 21st of every month, is ideal. Used kimonos are 300 percent cheaper than the new ones, and they almost look like the new ones. Kyoto is the best place to buy kimonos, there are souvenir shops on Shinkyogoku Street. A great part of the street is that they speak English and know how to treat foreigners because 99 % of their customers are travelers from abroad.

@@7mrtravel Yes but I will be in Kyoto from April 1 to 14 and then in Tokyo from the 14th to the 19th. The only flea market I will be able to go to is the 1st Sunday in Kyoto. According to the dates I will be there

@7mrtravel12 күн бұрын
For the last two weeks, it was too warm for November, and then it became suddenly chilly this weekend. No one knows what this fall season is like. Anyway, leaves began changing the color. Let's assume we have a normal climate. The first week of December is the last chance to enjoy the autumn color. Half the leaves might have fallen, but you can still enjoy beautiful red carpets.

@7mrtravel14 күн бұрын
Driving a car in Kyoto this time of year is not a good idea. Parking is a problem on weekends, and the traffic is heavy. Kyoto City doesn't recommend it. Most people use the Metro and trains in the autumn season.

No matter what food critics say, Kuromon Market is still GREAT. There are a lot of amazing shops there.

Before walking into a shop, just check the review on Google Maps. If there are people waiting outside the shop, the place is usually very good.

Not yet. Everything is still green in Kyoto. Today, it was a bit warm, good for walking but not good for autumn colors. The season seems to be delayed this year, but no one knows when. Just check the updates!

I liked some things in IKEA (I’m from Moscow), but to get it from my home it was around 1,5-2 hours by public transport, therefore to go there was to hard for me. I liked there some things and of course those meatballs with famous souse, but I think more or less all IKEAS are quiet similar to each other.

Dear Mr travel, I heard the momiji has moved to December. May I ask if the videos here are all from November this year 2024 ?
@7mrtravel21 күн бұрын
The footage is from last year. The autumn color season is supposed to be coming in two weeks. The prediction of the season is getting difficult year after year due to global warming. This October was like summer in Japan. Today, it suddenly became like winter. The season tends to be later in recent years. The fact is no one knows what it will be like in two weeks. So check to update if you are coming to Kyoto.

Dear Sandra. I’ve been watching you for a year or more, but have not commented, yet. I, for the life of me, cannot comprehend how you painted two bathrooms and a wall or two by yourself! You actually got up on a ladder or down on your knees and taped and painted all of those rooms ? Perhaps your son helped you . I certainly hope so.. I also wanted to change and had my whole bathroom wallpaper, stripped and painted and the molding changed but I used a handyman ! True, I am awaiting an operation on my arm next week and have had six replacements of hips, knees, and shoulders. I do give myself a break from feeling guilty about not doing it myself.. I find you very inspiring, and I love your outlook on life, which has helped me through the politics of this month . Though I consider myself well, I do have chronic pain, but so far can’t walk and drive without a cane or walker. I do have just sit down very frequently as the pain is hard to take . I am 83 going on 84 and hopefully going on 90 ! Please keep up your videos and your strength. It is a blessing to many as well as to you. Sincerely Alice Feldman
