I can’t help but feel that the majority of negative comments on here are simply from people who don’t like to see a talented female being innovative and thinking outside of the box. I’m sorry but you have to respect the fact that she moves to the beat of her own drum and she is in FACT very talented.

She isn't a shredder like so many of the 80s guitarists but do we need more shredders since they are a dime a dozen? I love that she is a experimental guitarist that mixes different sounds and styles in her playing and does the same with her vocals as well. This makes her unique in my opinion so why all the hate in the comments? Aren't people really sick of hearing EVH or Malmsteen clones?

So far from reading the comments people have compared this solo to Zappa, Devo, Gang of Four, Hendrix, Jett... Which means shes awful and people are projecting what they think they are hearing. Pretty much modern art to a T: gobbledygook that masquerades as talent. Qnd the only reason any of us are atill talking about her is because she looks like a model.

As a guitarist myself I'm surprised there's so many snobs in here saying she sucks. Really exposes your own lack of talent saying shit like that LOL... she clearly knows how to play, she's classically and jazz trained as a guitarist and knows what she's doing - and CHOOSES to use atonality, unconventional riffs, technique and ideas to serve her style and songs. Playing a bunch of standard "safe" box pentatonic wank on her songs would sound stupid, and expecting her to do conventional guitar shit on unconventional music makes you sound stupid. Listen to something other than rock and metal lol

I dunno, if it was just a dude in a flannel doing the exact same thing, nobody would care, but because it's a gorgeous model-esque woman it's somehow god-like. She's super cool and has a great aesthetic and look and voice and songwriting ability, and her guitar stunts are a bonus.
