One of the best bottle neck guitarists ever. Never gets old. That "Have a Heart" solo is killa.

I have been crushing on her for 50 years now. Saw her a half dozen times in the late 70's - early 80's. I would have killed for a backstage pass (still would).

I grew up in the 70's and took The Band for granted in the 70's. I loved The Last Waltz but did not bother to collecy their records. I knew the popular songs. As i have grown so much older over the years, i appreciate The Band much more. There are many great deep cuts on the classic albums. I love them now. Garth Hudson is the only surviving member now. R9bbie left us a year or so ago. It's sad. But we must pay homage to The Band's astonishing legacy. Yhey remain to be one of the biggest influences on North American roots music. As they should be. I could never get through watching The Last Waltz without tossing back a couple of shots with beer chasers. It's so right, it can't be wrong. Completely appropriate.

He looks like a marionette, as if someone is pulling his strings very sharply. Great technique.

I've played this locally at open mic night, but changed the lyrics slightly to make it come from the guy's first person perspective. "I've got to wonder what she sees in me, when there's so many others standing in line." Such a beautiful, and personally poignant song, because I used to know the girl in this song. Thank you for sharing your talent with us, Bonnie. :) ❤

This song reaches straight into your chest, tears out your heart, then caresses it softly and tells you everything will be alright. And there's no better singer in the world to make that message real.
