You're doing Gods work. Nice! Also, I'm impressed at how you have effectively nailed Randy's live tone. 10/10

Man what a great video! Thank you so much. Randy was my guy from day one! My brother went with the other guy haha! I went so many different directions with styles and tones but this video showed me something….how brilliant of a composer Randy was! Watching you play his parts accurately like very accurately haha I realized just how complex his composition was. Like you can play Panama while watching a stripper to the right with a Marlboro hanging out your mouth but if you’re going to be playing Over The Mountain then you’d better be paying attention! Thanks for a great video and reminding me of the brilliance of Randy Rhoads!

Great video - the history is always interesting to me and you did a great job here. I have always loved Randy. I bought 2 copies of Ozzy's Tribute album, one of which is still in the shrink wrap.That said - who and why, would anyone ever want to "recreate" Randy's tone. I will never understand this. Just how bad his tone was, and the fact that it is almost never talked about decades later, is something that I will never understand. Peace.

Fantastic..That Concorde nails the tone!!...Randy was apparently never happy with his one.A boat anchor by accounts... id imagine your instrument is better than his actual prototype?..You nail the technique too .. Perfection.

Amazing rep of his songs. Randy had his own style and was every bit as good as DeMartini,Van Halen and Lynch. His melodic and soaring leads and rhythm playing was his own and no one sounded like him. We were lucky to have enjoyed him while he was alive and so sad he was lost so soon

A bit less gain on the pedal, a tighter, brighter, more middy amps setting and pickups not so close to the strings to let them breathe. That should do it. Be careful how your pedals interact.

This sucks because people that don't even play bought this up by the dozens now they have them on eBay for $500 when Dunlap originally sold them for $99 America 2024 price gouge everyone for everything. Sad part is the true Randy fans will never get to experience the sound, I'm talking those of us who went to see the Diary of a Madman tour in 1982

I buy Jackson in a heartbeat. They’re very expensive guitars, but I guess they’re worth it. I don’t know if I ever get my hands on one are they MXR but I hope I do one today

Now besides the polka dot paint job what is special about this version of the Dist+ as opposed to a standard script reissue? Did they use discreet components that were also in Randy's pedal?

If you haven’t seen Damiano play live in his Randy tribute, definitely gotta make it priority. He will give you flashbacks for sure! Best Randy tribute throughout time and space. And I say that after 30 years of studying and playing Randy’s riffs. When this kid hit the local scene, I stopped playing so much Randy! lol he’s got it lockdown. Just my humble opinion That old Marshall sounds awesome as well!🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

Great vid.How are you running 2 amps together?
@DamianoChristian27 күн бұрын
Thank you but did you watch it? lol I explain it in the video - each head goes to a separate delay on my board in stereo
@nimitz173927 күн бұрын
@@DamianoChristian Oh I see now. You said you go from the chorus into the two delays. Witch at first just sounds like you have two delays at the end of the chain. But you’re splitting the amps there. Wasn’t really clear though, lol you never really said you were splitting the amps there so ppl who don’t know you can even do that wouldn’t have a clue.

Best cover I found on youtube...has the same emphasis on the notes as the original version, at least to my opinion....its crazy how the notes emphasized changes from the original version in other videos I have seen, and people still claim that it is exactly like the original version...
