@@houseofcars6998 it did, found some gunk around the pick up screen. Thought that there is some clever way to disassemble it and clean, apparently it’s glued shut. Probably gonna be enough to hose it down with brake cleaner 😁 Question, there are few small metal particles floating around. Is it likely that they are from pump? Mine is m57tu, lower pressure system compared to n57 but looks the same. +350kkm for this pump, i doubt anyone changed before me. Probably would be wise to put new one in… just another prevention to keep it reliable in future 😁

I have a tuned 335 i felt a boom come from Behind me now car will roll in park and I have no pedal response at all when I start and it makes a crazy rattling noise. Never had this happen to me on this chassis so I am lost any help or suggestions?

Hello! I’m in the middle of doing the same job. I have a question about the crankshaft seal you were talking about, mine looks like it would be good to put a new seal but I don’t have it so how long did yours last since you didn’t buy a new one? Or did you have to install a new seal at all?

@@robinjansson4735 i havent installed a new seal myself but personally if I had the time I would’ve as it wont be expensive. It can always be done further down the line i suppose but mines been fine

My 2010 E90 320D fills the regulator's side of the tank with fuel, leaving the pump's side of the tank empty. What might be the problem? Pump or regulator?

@@houseofcars6998 I fill the tank full, the car will drive and cuts off on 1/2 empty, when I open the tank "pump's side is empty and regulator's side is full" meaning the fuel is not returning from the regulator's side back to the pump's side.

@@sphamandlajele8214 ok so on the side opposite to the pump side you’ll have a sender unit. That sends fuel from that side of the tank to the pump side so just check that system. There should be pipes attached to the fuel pump which lead to it

My car is a bmw e92 n43 engine so the pipes are located slightly different and I was looking for a diagram or instalation instructions on fitting a can to it 🤔

@@GameFloVR ah mate I was a Whitfield lad myself! Lived up the road in Fishponds. Fun times 😊 The idea on fitting a can is pretty much the same. Just need to find the outlet from valve cover and inlet back into intake. So annoying manufacturers dont build these in themselves! Thanks for the vid. Yeah your right with the High Power frequency settings. So then you can use the RCA on the amp to send Low frequencies to an amp then run speaker wires to the stock subs and the subs can be set separately so you get base too! ;)

Im having an issue with my 2008 BMW 328i. The shifter moves into Reverse, Neutral, and Drive, but the car will not move. The car is not going into gear. Any suggestions on what is wrong??

@@Alvo901 Confirm the cable from the gearstick down to gearbox is moving as should. I’m guessing its the selector switch. Shouldnt be anything big if its as simple as you’d described

@@JeanStudiosHD not yet, but doing some research I found there’s a “mechanic valve” inside the mechatronic body of the transmission right above the transmission oil pan, that part is made of plastic and it’s apparently very prompt to breaking, I haven’t had the time to inspect mine, if this helps you let me know too please! @@axelgarcia9690 i fixed my issue i ordered a new pan thinking it was the fluid or possibly a solenoid inside the mechntorics unit so i switched all that out but the problem i had was that my shifter was stuck in park but i bypassed it with the shifter lock switch and after the fluid change and solenoids my car would go into drive and reverse but i still had the problem with the shifter being stuck in park so what i did was with the car in the on position without the engine running i detached some cables in the shifter unit ( just pry out the plastic plate that covers it) and reattached them put the car in N and as soon as i turned the car on put it in D gave it throttle and switched it to DS (sports mode) and it took the gear i drove the car a bit turned it off turned it back on and i was no longer stuck in park it’s been running well since

The underseat subs shouldnt be too bad as standard. The amp will just enhance somewhat what you already have but it is definitely an improvement. Any ideas what speakers you have installed?

@@houseofcars6998 they are basic system, 4 x in doors and 2x subs, no idea spec, they are just factory. But without amp. I font know also how they are connected in BMW f10. first I want add amp. Vibe seems great, but if that 4channels don't know how to connect subs. Probably factory did just front doors together wirh subs. That's why factory radio not generate as much power to drive subs. Hope amp will help. Next will upgrade speakers, but want to check amp first.

Thanks for the video and the useful content. I have an e92/2010 where I started to get a transmission fault on the dash after I have changed the gear cooler and the gear oil. The car did not generate any codes earlier, but after I have done the above maintenance, I started to get the ugly transmission fault. The fault only comes after I drive the car (after 20 or 30 mins) not sure what could be the relation but it seems that when the car is warm enough this fault comes in. After the fault is on the dash, the car starts to have poor transmission, error in selection (be in N while the selector is in D, etc.) I got it inspected by a mechanic (who did the oil change) but he was not able to fix it (he suggested to change the whole gear box, which I am not convinced to do!) It is notable that when the car is parked, cold, it starts with out any issue and without the transmission fault. The fault comes after driving the car for 30+ mins. I am puzzled and not sure what to do. Any suggestions?

Hi most dont know how to top up the oil correctly. You need to make sure around 7 litres go in. Most top it up as per normal until the oil starts to come out. It could also be that the clutch packs are worn out and in that case you would need to have it refurbed so the mechanic could be right.

@@bassilmohammad4085 you can have just the packs done but it can be over £2K. Replacement gbox should be cheaper but no guarantee it’ll work long. I would suggest draining the oil first and then measuring 7 litres (from the gbox being totally empty) and make sure it takes all of that. You might have to tilt the car forwards to give it enough space to go in.

You could see if its shaking at all or normally the tell tales signs are some wear on the rubber. To be honest if you’re close to 100k its worth changing

For the logic 7s if you have a graphic equalizer or CarPlay, lower the treble frequency but these settings on the amp should be fine, just don’t take the gain past half or you will get distortion

I've got pot four leaking gases, so got to the stud heads and guess what. The torx socket anti clockwise and both heads chewed up. The car is 83k FSH. Completely sick. now tapping the suds via the socket with small hammer

hello quick question, i have 2007 bmw E90 N46 engine, i dont have catch can installed and i have noticed there is also no drain hose connected to dip stick, and dipstick is closed by pliers by my previous car owner. is it safe to drive a car like that?

No catch can is fine. If you just have the dipstick closed that should be fine its only to check the oil level

Connecting an amp is just plugging in the right cables. Make sure you’ve got the correct adapters and you’re good to go. Check with wherever you bought them from

@@houseofcars6998 no codes red but the rear right window won't go down and the roof was working after that couple of times today got the regulator part thinking to fix it but the roof decided not to open and eventually started giving the latch closed properly error. I just home if the window regulator is replaced it won't affect the roof.i think there is a way an emergency roof procedure opening so I will read through this but not sure.

He’s right, if you’ve got factory underseat subwoofers and use full instead of HPF the bass is insane. But it distorts and sounds rough at higher volumes. I’m guessing the using HPF for the fronts and full for the rears is the way to go. I’ll test this as mine has always distorted using full. I’ll try the gain at half way and see how it goes

I set my fronts at HPF and full on the rears, it cut out any distortion at full volume, but you do lose some power as in the volume level. The gain I set at half way for both, Any more then that and it distorts

Thanks for the video. I've got the very same problem with that banjo bolt having been cross-threaded, and it's been tightened up so much that the manifold has cracked and is leaking. I'm relieved to learn I don't need to completely remove the DPF to get the manifold nuts undone! I removed the DPF only a few months ago to clean it, and I swore I'd never do it again because I had to remove the engine mount to get it out the bottom.

HI, I have the F33 and a the rear left has failed,. in your video you show the simple act of lifting the top off, I assume the seat comes out first but what did you do to lift the top off after removing the screw? I thought the lower panel came out first and had to abandon the effort but your vid seems to show a different way. could save me a fortune if you can tell me where to go with this part! Cheers

Thanks@@houseofcars6998 I've seen a couple of posts on the roof, feel the roof will open as the windows half way down and the motor still works, it was more the removal of the top trim to expose teh regulator mounting, need a full E2E of the whole thing haha! time to sell when this is fixed! :)

Thank you for the video. My right rear window stopped working this morning with the roof down. The roof wouldn't go up anymore. Thanks to your video, I got the regulator out in about 25 minutes. The traveller had become disconnected because one nut fell off. All the parts were in the bottom of the cavity. It was 4pm on a Friday, so I was in rush to find out if I needed parts. It was also 39 degrees Celsius here in Perth, Western Australia, so now it can wait until the cool of the morning to reassemble it.

Thanks for the video, my roof no longer folds, just unhooks at the front. The PDC Module for the parking sensors no longer work too. The car had a pool of ester right down where these two modules are stored. Hoping a new PDC and roof pump/parts will fix it

Tbh 3 minutes is quite a while I dont think mine were running that long so if it took that long then you should be ok in all honestly. Faulty injectors would fill up quick

Hello maybe someone can help me with my problem. Since i put in a refurbished steeringbox, i have a noise from the poversteering pump. So i replaced that and properly bleed the system. But the high pitched pump noise is still present. Does someone have the same issues and maybe a answer for me. That would be very nice.

Hi, I've had the amp installed but also had to buy rca splitter cables to plug into the amp so I can have both front and rear plugged in. However, when I plug all 4 cables in, it only seems to power the front speakers, not the rear (subs). Any ideas?

The head unit is the absolute shite in these, drop in anything else and those ridiculous factory speakers actually can give a surprisingly decent sound!
