Nice looking mod bike. I have no desire to mod anything on this bike. Kinda stupid to buy a new bike and spend lots of $ on mods.

Great video. Going to need the 4.0 on my YZ125x I plan to buy. Can’t use a clutch lever due to childhood accident! Recluse is a Godsend!

Looks absolutely great! Does that headlight design help significantly with wind? It’s a non issue in trails but I have a lot of higher speed tarmac riding to do before getting to the gravel and trails. Found rally type towers but they are expensive to buy and not even sure if they actually do a good job at deflecting wind.

Hi Ryan I have a street legal WR450F, 2007. I do 'long distance' mix of paved and dirt/gravel roads. On paved I cruise at approx 100 kph. Do you think I can push the enjin harder over long distance? Or do you reckon my 100 kph is the 'sweet spot'?

adjusting the preload to 110mm does not tell anything whether the spring rate fits to the riders weight . No word about the static sag after dynamic sag was adjusted

These bikes will do MUCH more than the average adventure bike off road. Its only on the highway where they lose to the higher cc bigger comfier bike. But most of us good dr650 owners buy her for the woods :)

I have been having a problem where after riding for a little bit my brakes will lock up. I have bled them multiple times. Any idea what’s wrong?

You are a lucky person to ride this bike. I too like very much to HONDA CRF450L bike. But I have no money to buy this bike. As we are a poor country. Good Luck. [22.10.2024]

The motorcycle market is a strange bunch. The dunderhead malarkey about "p-strom vs. v-strom" seems to have circled the earth 17 times before anyone bothered reading Suzuki's press materials.

Yes indeed, love the suzuki vstrom 800de. It can be very forgiving off road when I mess up. Road manners are spot on. Almost 2000 miles on it now.

I got a ‘21 with a pro cycle jet kit and standard air box no mods to the box I run it on AVGAS cause I get it for free got a Dominator muffler. Never misses a beat plenty of throttle response with the jet kit. Ride it on sand, dirt, bitumen, mud long days in the sun rain you name it never misses a beat keeps with all the euro trash and cost a fraction of the price to buy and maintain. I run stock bouncy suspension cause I like it I weigh 85 kilos I don’t need the fancy shit of new bikes my riding style is above average. DR650 is a blast.

So you need a transporter , steering stabiliser & auto clutch on the 300 🤷. I used to be a 2stroke guy too , got a stock 350excf now , ride it out my yard on the tar to the trails, wicked bike love it. Ps best bikes I've owned are 500 2strokes 💪 but you need a transporter for them too unless you don't mind being chased by the cops 🤣
