My 99 Hoe sometimes "hunts" when downshifting. For example, if I am doing ~30 mph and stomp on it, it'll drop a gear and then right back up again. Giving this a shot because it's a whole lot cheaper than a trans rebuild. 133k miles on the odo and been babied its entire life

I think flowmaster’s patent on the delta technology has expired, so muffler companies CAN make an exact cheap copy now.

Hi, I am driving a 2021 Chevy volt for working purposes. When I first got issued the car it would charge all the way to 221 max. Every week that goes by, the max has been going down. Right now it only charges to 183 max. Why is that and will it continue to go down? Please advise

I used to work for flowmaster until they outsourced to China just before the pandemic, flowmaster let the patent run out so one of the ex-employees started total flow that's why they look the same.

Any idea how to troubleshoot if the bulbs not working after replacing it ?
@adnan753002 жыл бұрын
But that was the point for weeds not to grow. I live it Texas, last year had landscape contractor put this type of material... Sort of like felt but very thin. Cheap one from Home Depot. You should see now...even with gravel on top see the damn weed everywhere. I am just about to kill all vegetation. Sick of all the maintenance.

Wrong, your pivot point is actually the bolt, DO NOT GREASE THE OUTSIDE OF THE KNURLING
@dirtyaznstyle41562 жыл бұрын
All the clamping force from tightening the bolt is on the bushing sleeve though. So when the control arm rotates, if the sleeve is clamped in the mounting bracket, how is the sleeve pivoting around the bolt? The sleeve is clamped, the bushing is press fit in the control arm, the bolt isn’t rotating, so the only place that can move is the interface between the polyurethane and the sleeve. If the bolt were the pivot point the sleeve would start cutting into it and it would loosen up. Metal on metal isn’t a good idea especially if it’s in a dirty environment and the tolerances aren’t tight. The bolt is there to provide clamping force which is why you replace them once you remove them.
@hardlinefoil75322 жыл бұрын
@@dirtyaznstyle4156 that's not true, you don't grease the friction face on the not and bolts, they clamp they the mounting point, and with grease on the bush and the correct torque spec the whole bushing spins and keeps position, whilst the clamping force on the ungraded bolt and nut it enough, that's why not having correct torque spec is a huge issue
@dirtyaznstyle41562 жыл бұрын
@@hardlinefoil7532 the polyurethane is press fit into the part though, it’s not supposed to move. If it were a rubber bushing the outer shell is press fit into the part, the sleeve is clamped by the bolt and the rubber flexes when there’s movement right? Same with the poly except the poly bushing doesn’t flex and the sleeve rotates inside of it. If the poly is pressed into the part and the sleeve is clamped in the mounting bracket, when the bushing rotates neither component is going to move. Movement happens at the smooth interface between them. Tightening bolts at ride height isn’t really an issue with poly bushings because of that. All major suspension fasteners should be graded bolts. The control arms, leaf spring hangers/shackles, and shock mounts on my truck all have grade 10.9 bolts.

I have large areas of mulch, some with weed barrier, some with BLACK plastic, some with no barrier. The plastic works much better by far. The no barrier thing sucks the worse. Im talking 10 truck loads of mulch. I will be putting a gravel 60x40 pad in, im putting heavu plastic down. Weeds will come but WAY less without the plastic. I understand your rant about plants around it though.

I just bought the 6 in Mt Vernon safety toe. It was between the Pittsburgh safety toe or the Mt. Vernon. The Pittsburgh felt like they had a much better shank for support but the Mt Vernon has so much room at the toe. I’ve never had a pair of boots that didn’t cramp my toes. My feet feel like they can breathe. I love Goodyear welted boots. I have a pair of American made Redwing loggers, 2 pair of Thorogood wedge soles, a pair of Thorogood loggers waterproof, Danner Bull Run. All boots that I mentioned except the redwings your feet will get soaked in heavy rain. I’m hoping these Keens solve that problem. Wet feet ruin your day

So isn’t this what we want when we put rock down. Why would I want weeds, grass, and plants to grow where I need rocks ONLY. Do the ROCK need nutrients and moist?
@AZsmoothrider3 жыл бұрын
In theory, sure. But weeds will still grow eventually because enough dirt will blow into the rocks. The video was aimed at people who still have plants or trees. Or who may want healthy soil.
@nightwines2 жыл бұрын
@@AZsmoothrider Okay so it was aimed at folks who have vegetation in the ground. But what if you don't have vegetation and don't plan on it in the future? I can tell you from experience this stuff works! Yes, dirt will blow into the rocks ON TOP OF the barrier and cause weeds. For that matter it is impossible while installing it to keep dirt of the top of it. However, once in place with a nice layer of rocks the weeds with be very few and very far in-between. Additionally, when they do pop up it's a simple matter of reaching over pulling them up with the greatest of ease as they are NOT rooted in the soil they are just growing in the small amount of dirt that made it's way in-between the rocks. They are so easy to pull out an infant could do it. And for those who don't want to bother with even bending over pull out the minute amount of weeds that do spring up there's always a quick spray with a weed killer. Especially in the hot sun. Hot sun+weed killer works like a charm fast. I walk my suburban type home pretty much everyday just to look around and enjoy but one doesn't have too with this stuff and rocks in place. You could go a couple of months at my house, walk the rocks and it would take you maybe 10 whole minutes at that getting the very few weeds out.

Getting one soon for the yard. Just love these. Glad I seen this video because lots of people are telling me to prune once a month 😳 seems like way to much to me.
@AZsmoothrider3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, don't over water (it's easy to do, and they will break in the wind) in fact they really only need supplemental water on either side of monsoon. Over pruning will cause rampant growth and more breakage. These naturally grow to short and squatty touching the ground. Less you do the better imo.
@Clappedlsx3 жыл бұрын
They sound the same look the same but the material is definitely cheaper and a flowmaster will out last them hands down …. With that said if u change mufflers a lot of whatever the case don’t care about then being more durable save the money… I’ve ran both brands both are good

We are planning on putting 2 inch rocks around our deck in backyard...not for the reason to grow plants at all. What is best to use as underlay the to use (more shiny ) woven earth mat or (less shiny) non woven ground cover fabric? Or use Spun fabric? Even though we have bit of a decline from back to front for water drainage in backyard we still like water to go through landscape fabric ..is it necessary ?
@AZsmoothrider3 жыл бұрын
I'm pretty much against any and all underlayments or landscape fabrics. You will still get weeds and the fabric will eventually start poking up and turn into a mess. But to each his own.
@Candy-fr6jz3 жыл бұрын
@@AZsmoothrider I hear you and realize some weeds may grow but have to use something so small rocks don't dig and sink into soil. So what be best to use?
