most countries in that time went through similar situation. move from cavalry to airplanes and tanks and misiles was very painful. for example in Soviet Union officers, who believed in successful future of rockets on battlefields, had being treated as traitors and executed...so Mitchell, who was too advanced to that burocratic environment, had not so bad fate. only Germany made great decision to really on progress and new types of advanced military ideas, for that reason Germany dominated on battlefields in 1939-1945...it was miracle how slow burocratic machines of antifascist countries mobilized all resources and defeated Germany...hopefully lesson had been learned...new russian-fascists rising awgly head...but again history repeated...slow,unforgivably slow governments waking up.

Okay you movie buffs. I saw a black and white British movie about an elderly gentleman that was running and hiding out from the British Secret Service. He had a suspicious leather brief case that I think that he had an atomic weapon of sorts. I can’t remember who the actors were but it was one of those chase movies. He was having to live by his wits by staying a few steps ahead of the law. The movie is from the fifties or early sixties.. Can someone tell me please the title. I know my synopsis is very weak! Help ✌️❤️😎

I remember those old cars as my great gandpah had one. The manufacturer used dynamite to insulate the around the front bumper so as to make sure that in a head on collision the engine would be ejected from the car so as not to end up in the driver's lap. Yeah, later they switched to TNT.

OH, yeah, did you know that there are these big harry things roaming the NW forests and the Luziana bayous with feet so big even Nike can't fit em? Then there's these creachters that come from other planets landing here on earth looking for things to probe? Oh, wait, that's my uncle Cletus. Anyway, Hope you did check out that Russian tank anti-RPG defense thang I told you bout. As Lili Von Shtupp says, "It's Twoo, It's Twoo!"

This was a fun ride. This film is ripe for a remake. Not sure who should star in it, but I want Matthew McConaughey to play the brother. I can see him coming through the swamp "The wages of sin is death". PS- they did a great job of aging Ruby / Jennifer Jones .

The best take away from the diologue - " Think for yourself, and say what you think.". A piece of wisdom that seems to have gone missing in America today. Don't just blindly accept the Media's " spin" on world events. Go to at least 2 reputable authorities, outside the usual opinion makers, and listen to the independent voices.
