The days when some kids shows were genuinely brilliant.

I've just noticed that the younger male presenter has a Navarrese surname.

Sad. Such a shame when we lost her to a nunnery, but we forget that the very same week she passed we lost Paul O'Grady also. A legend.

This was when tv presenters and celebrities had talent and were very very very funny!!! I LOVED the celebrities of the 1960s 1970s 1980s so funny so much character and charm. The world of entertainment just isn’t what it was at all now days. This gentleman was very very naturally funny!! RIP Larry

WNET 13 in NY used to show this in the early 1980s after Sesame Street and Reading Rainbow. On days off from school or home sick, it was a treat to watch this. It is a nicer treat to see it again. Thanks so much!

I wish the stage would come back, all the chorus girls and high kicks, with skits and comedy 🎭 BGT is the closest we got for great entertainment I recon that should made into a proper Saturday night live show; and bring back family games shows! Of course families splinter off to computers and things as there is nothing on TV to unsightly the family anymore!

Joan Rivers and Paul O’Grady (Lily Savage) really knew how to demonstrate an absolute masterclass in comedy. Both at the absolute top of their games, class and field, and both are gone now. So sad.

I think the fact that we had only three tv channels, was a good thing. I never felt like I was missing anything. And we all had shared experiences, which bound us together and gave us shared memories. A tv show with Ché and Tony drawing on a politician. Something tells me the twitterati would be moaning about this now 😂😂
