If I am doing online Chem tutorials, what size do you recommend (35 or 50)?
@EdTchoi13 сағат бұрын
@@raquiyahrahman-aquil9468 I would go for the 50 if you’re using it in front of a class (and projecting the image on a larger screen) and probably use the 35 if you’re using it on your desk (the 50 would be too big if you’re seated at your desk).

I love these pens, but they aren't smooth writers and they don't make a great sharp line. They're great for durability but they aren't the best writing pens around. Fisher pressurized pens are my favorite, but I'm under no illusion that they compete with pens that write very cleanly and smoothly.

Yes, I agree. These pens are more like reliable workhorses that will last a lifetime. Thanks for your feedback!

Thanks for the video... You replied to me in another video about redoing the finish of a whiteboard and you suggested these. But... 3M seems to make a few different types of these films - 'white board' and 'dry erase', if not more? I did a quick look on their site and for at least 1 of those, they were talking about being ok to use permanent markers and they'll come off easy.?! Is there a video of the differences? Or, if you are aware of these different types, any thoughts on whuch to use? Gotta check out all your videos!!

Helping at a school - on a whiteboard that is 20 years old? it had some dried on whiteboard markers. I wound up using 70% isopropyl (I hadn't seen this video)l & maybe windex. Cleaned the whole surface (overall, the board had a film of old white board marker on it). Nice and white / no whiteboard markers on it after that. But ither because of just age (do whiteboards wear out?) or my taking off a coating / finish on the whiteboard, new whiteboard markers don't rub off as easy as they would on a new whiteboard. Is there a way to refresh the finish so it can be erased easier? It's something like 15' wide x 5 high big board. Not used enough to make it worth replacing it, but I'd like to improve things.
@EdTchoi21 күн бұрын
Nice to see that your whiteboard is clean, but yes, the surface of whiteboards do deteriorate after time. Using products like Windex, can deteriorate the surface faster, so I like to stick with alcohol, or whiteboard cleaners. Having said that, you can resurface the whiteboard using the 3M Dry Erase Surface, which is pretty easy to do (you can check out some of my previous videos on this). Let me know if you have any other questions!

@EdTchoi2 ай бұрын
I think if you peeled it slowly off the wall, you'd be ok, but unfortunately you won't know if it will take the wall paper off without trying, It all depends on how well the wall paper is adhered to the wall itself. What size of the dry erase surface were you looking at?

I recently (August 2024) bought a Pilot Falcon fountain pen with the soft nib. I have collected and used fountain pens for 20 years. This pen worked for about a month of casual use before the ink ceased to flow through the nib. Then it just failed. There was no damage to the nib - the ink just stopped flowing properly. In my sad experience this was just a piece of junk and do not recommend this at all. I really expected so much more from a Japanese product but... in this case it was a shameful, cheap piece of shame. This is my experience and resulting opinion.
