When it's connected to a computer, do you need to download a software to show an object to the screen? Thank you!
@EdTchoi Жыл бұрын
Hi, no need to download any software as your computer will detect the doc cam as a web camera. Having said that, if you do download the Elmo software, you'll have access to some more features like annotation. Let me know if you have any other questions!

ED, How much is this projector? Where can I get it from? I am in Toronto, ON., Canada.

How did you get the screen to pop up. Im trying to connect it to my laptop and I can get it to the point where I can see myself writing out my notes
@EdTchoi4 жыл бұрын
Ah, the ELMO camera is recognized as a web camera, so you'll need to select this in order for you to see it. Let me know if this works!

Dear Ed. I want to pre-record videos for my online teaching. Do you perhaps have a video of how to do this?
@EdTchoi4 жыл бұрын
Good idea...what exactly would you want to record? Is it an object underneath the visualizer? Based on what you want to record, I can provide some guidance and/or video on this topic. Thanks

Hi Ed, I have to teach over the Net due to the corona virus. Can this gadget be connected to a lap top and send images during a Skype call? .......How much is the gadget ? ..... Who sells it ?
@EdTchoi4 жыл бұрын
Tony Gomes Absolutely! You can connect the visual presenter to your laptop via USB and then share your screen on a Skype call. This would be an excellent teaching tool for distance learning. You can call the people at National Source AV at +1-888-476-9923 and they should be able to help you out with pricing. I believe the MSRP is $599 US, however it may sell for less. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks for watching!

@@tonygomes6306 I think I might do a video on how to use the Visual Presenter for Skype/Video Conference Calls this week. What subject matter are you currently teaching?

Ed Tchoi . Hi Ed. Teaching Physics & Math, with a large number of diagrams & graphs. It just crossed my mind now, if I could promote this device around, perhaps I could profit from it . Thanx for quick reply..... Best wishes.....

Get me to 100 Subs yes, oftentimes it’s a lack if awareness from the teachers, but those teachers that use them, usually love them. Thanks for watching!
