The curse cannot be stopped. It’s literally a virus. Also there are older Grudges movies dated way back from this one. I think there’s like 8? But the older ones are called Ju-on. Literally every movie nobody survives.

Just so you know…. The Halloween series has 4 different storylines. 1. H1 and H2(Some people consider H1 it’s own story as well) 2. H1, H2, H4, H5, H6 3. H1, H2, H H20, H Resurrection 4. H1, H 2018, H Kills, H Ends The Halloween series originally meant to be a anthology which is why Halloween 3 is a different story. But when H3 was released they realized people wanted more Michael Myers. Also it’s 2 complete remakes by a director named Rob Zombie who came out with H 2007 and H2 2009.

There's about 50 really good horror movies out there. Starting with the exorcist, the first Halloween and Friday the 13th, hellraiser, the witch, the evil dead trilogy, all the multiple movies in the Conjuring universe, drag me to hell, smile woman in black, the descent, the boy , Orphan, barbarian, The grudge, the ring, lights out (watch the short first) the shining, I'll throw in The Thing and Alien and Bladerunner because of their gore and jump scare factor and great effects story makeup etc, the Omen , and maybe a few others. But i can easily say, after The Exorcist, this is number 2! There was nothing ever hereditary about this family. Dear old grandma or even generations before her, tried conjuring demons, and put in the men of this family. When Charlie dies and ma sleeps in the treehouse and the camera pans back, watch the wall! When Peter is in bed and first hears the click, watch his eyes!! There's homages to Friday the 13th and exorcist in here. The clock stopping, the subject taught in Peter's class, even the released date of this!! Also, the parking lot scene was a setup. She kept pulling and tugging on Annie and turned her back to her own vehicle because if u look close, she JUST BOUGHT that chalkboard, and its in the back! How Toni Collette didn't win a Oscar is a crime! U can damn well bet either joannie never had a son and grandson, or if she did, she killed them trying to put paimon in them!

I love y’all so much! Your reactions are always the best fun to watch. Aging myself here-in the 1970s and the early 1980s, we went trick or treating in those vinyl costumes with the masks you couldn’t breathe out of. The only costume I can clearly remember is dressing up as Batman. My grandmother’s neighborhood was the hot spot in town for candy. I fondly recall the Halloween nights I spent with her helping to hand out treats. Trick or treating is non-existent where I live now. We’ve been here for nearly a decade and not a single trick or treater has ever come to the door.

What a wonderful surprise to watch a new reaction with you both! It's crazy to me this movie is 20 years old. Being a Sarah Michelle Gellar/Buffy fan, I could not wait to see this. I remember my mom wanted to watch the movie with me and she needed me to hold her hand throughout. Karen's character might be one of the smartest in a horror movie as she does exactly what most of us have been yelling at people to do at haunted houses: burn it down! Although it must be said I would have legged it back to the States long before that.

I know this is technically an American remake, but anything Japanese horror is really creepy to me. I feel like Japanese horror is just really unnerving and has such striking, horrifying imagery. Between this and The Ring, I think this one is the best. Great reaction.

Slither is up there as one of my favorite horror comedies and one of my favorite alien invasion movies. It's by James Gunn, the same director of the Guardians of the Galaxy movies, but this is Gunn still coming off from his days at Troma. It's great stuff with a good sense of humor. I'd also recommend checking out the 1986 science fiction horror comedy Night of the Creeps. It's eerily similar to Slither. It too deals with people being infected by alien slugs. The cool thing about Night of the Creeps is that it mixes different kinds of horror movies. It has elements of 1950's B-movies, zombie movies, slasher movies, and alien invader movies. I think Night of the Creeps would make for a great reaction 🙂

This is one of the scariest modern horror movies. Mental instability and mental illness are always scary to me. Hereditary is just a good buildup and unnerving from beginning to end. Great reaction.

With the Halloween season in full swing, I've got to recommend both Killer Klowns from Outer Space and Ernest Scared Stupid. They're both fun, goofy horror comedies. Also, there is a connection between the two movies. The effects for both killer Klowns from Outer Space and Ernest Scared Stupid were done by the Chiodo Brothers. The Chiodo Brothers are the guys who wrote, directed, and produced Killer Klowns from Outer Space, as well as doing the practical effects and makeup. So some of the effects from Killer Klowns were reused and repurposed for Ernest Scared Stupid. I think they'd make for a great reaction. They're both perfect mixes of spooks, laughs, and great creature effects.

Hey, congrats on coming back. I missed your reactions. Nightmare is one of the best slashers ever. It's cool because of the way the dreams are depicted. It all works on dream logic. I think the dream concept is so creative. Anything can happen in a dream, and the idea that you can die in a dream is really scary. Sleep is basically when you're most vulnerable. I also like that they blur the line between dream and reality at times. Just a great 80's slasher with one of the best 80's villains. Great reaction 🙂
