Hey, congrats on coming back. I missed your reactions. Nightmare is one of the best slashers ever. It's cool because of the way the dreams are depicted. It all works on dream logic. I think the dream concept is so creative. Anything can happen in a dream, and the idea that you can die in a dream is really scary. Sleep is basically when you're most vulnerable. I also like that they blur the line between dream and reality at times. Just a great 80's slasher with one of the best 80's villains. Great reaction 🙂

Check out the movies The Lost Boys(1987), Halloween(1978), Jeepers Creepers(2001), Candyman(1992), Creepshow(1982), and Child’s Play(1988).

With the Halloween season in full swing, I've got to recommend both Killer Klowns from Outer Space and Ernest Scared Stupid. They're both fun, goofy horror comedies. Also, there is a connection between the two movies. The effects for both killer Klowns from Outer Space and Ernest Scared Stupid were done by the Chiodo Brothers. The Chiodo Brothers are the guys who wrote, directed, and produced Killer Klowns from Outer Space, as well as doing the practical effects and makeup. So some of the effects from Killer Klowns were reused and repurposed for Ernest Scared Stupid. I think they'd make for a great reaction. They're both perfect mixes of spooks, laughs, and great creature effects.
