NO. Projetors are not obsolete. TV's are like looking at a lightbulb, not good for the eyes. Projectors.are reflective light and better for your eyes. I watch all 3 original Star Wars movies back to back and my eyes never got tired. With tv they do.

This or the Marantz AV10
@tHAvIlLaMaN
@tHAvIlLaMaN 3 күн бұрын
The Marantz is only slightly less expensive when you add the Dirac Live Bass Control license that the Maestro X7S would come with. Today I’d likely go with the AV10 since it has support for things like HEOS has a better build quality (at least internally).

Which is more accurate? I have heard Samsung makes their displays really bright and contrasty to give people the impression they look better. I think unless you're going to buy a quality LG or Sony OLED, you might as well just get the TCL. I thought about getting one for my bedroom to replace an aging Panasonic plasma.

Brill video. I went from a 120 inch screen from a projector, Optoma UHD65 to a 100 inch Hisense tv. But, the extra 20 inches, is massive. So I purchased a AWOL 3500 pro, with a 160 inch electric drop down screen. You can’t beat that. But it’s nice to have both. Tv in the day, projector in the evening. Until these tv’s at say 120 inch to 150 inch become affordable, I see it’s good at the moment to have both, tv and projector

I hate having to buy electronic stuff every few years. Back then I just went to the shop, chatted with some random dude who knew nothing, probably got scammed and built up my stuff at home and was happy. Now 6 hours later still can't decide between S95D, S90D and G4 because people say matte screens are bad and makes the OLED useless... Probably going with the G4 just because I can put the shades down in my living room if I ever decide to watch tv while the sun is shining which never happend in my life because I'd be either in a friggin pool or playing computer anyways. Sorry for rant but buying new stuff is actually exhausting. In the end they probably are all just totally good TVs and me watching on a 2010 TV will have an upgrade either way.

It's pretty cool. Just wonder how reliable it'll be in the long run. If it can last 4-5 years it's good IMO. Other regular mowers I've had don't last much longer... something always fails and it's not worth the cost of repair or impossible to repair,...

great job with this review...my only question is does the samsung come in a 83" size? and can you buy a remote with buttons and numbers for the samsung unit? are you losing picture quality and detail by using the tv apps vs an apple tv box?

Stick with a TV, OLED is preferred. I owned one of these USTP w/ a 120" ALR screen. It's very difficult to get it properly alignment. Also, the picture brightness is very low, depending on the exact projector and screen size, you are getting around 100 nits. I had a Samsung UST that had 2,800 lumnes, ALR screens have a gain of .6 (that means you lose 40%of your brightness immediately). I was able to get around 90 nits maxing out the settings.

I have cleaned my oled with solutions you buy online and still leaves streaks. I’ve done done it with just water and leaves streaks. Now I just wash a soft cloth with water and a few drops of dishsoap. Get all the water out as much as I can and then wipe the screen. Dry with another microfiber and it stays spotless.

We went with Amazon since we have an Amazon Credit account and it'll be here in only three days.

The mower is not allowed to mow the wet grasse early in the morning when the grass is wet form the dew,... And for sure not in the rain.. He sais the mower gets very dirty in wet grass. When it rains it he shuts the mower off with the app or the one taht doesn't have an app by hand. and the mower is constricted to too small periods during daylight (dry grass).. And then the grass grows a litlle too high and the ,ittle knives can't keep up. And there's my brother is going again walking behind the motormower.. I think he just likes that as a time-passer.. Robotic lawn mowers are designed to run every/every other day. Then the clippings are so small that the fall to the ground and break down without creating any issues. The problem you describe only comes when you only let it mow 1x a week.

Or when it’s run for the first time. I completely agree that its strength is in maintenance. The problem I have with it running that often is that the tracks will likely eventually damage the lawn

Beautiful yard and neighborhood Cleveland. Automation has come a long way. I pay my lawn care guy $80/month but that also includes edging, weed eating and trimming my hedges. It would take 3 years for the Luba2 to pay for itself and I would have to begin edging, weed eating and trimming my hedges so this wouldn't be a good fit for my needs.

@@tHAvIlLaMaN true volume matters - but here would be interesting comparison - 100” TVs are low volume also - many people are more comfortable with projector than 100” tv - as the former can be hidden away.
