Filming this in HDR really makes it pop on an iPad, the highlights look just like what I remember the G3 looking like in store! Great job!

Was waiting for a video like this. Got the G3 77 in March and was feeling buyers remorse after watching all the G4 hype videos. Now I feel much better, I’m not missing out on anything significant and I saved a ton of money

We have a 77inch C2 and plan on getting the 83inch G4 during black friday, but its weird seeing it here and it doesn't really seem that big compared to the 77inch. Maybe just the angle its being shot.?

The G4 is much better for gamers because game mode was broken on the G4. And you can tell in this comparison the G4 has better brightness and color luminance/volume. The new processing also produces better detail and micro contrast

Do you notice if the G4 83” gives off as much heat as the G3 77”? My G3 really warms up my room over a few hours.

What is the distance from the bottom of the tv to the bottom of the two lower VESA mount holes? I have the 83" TV coming and I'm trying to get this measurement to figure out the height. Is this information available anywhere?

Just got my 77" G3 up and running. I placed it on a table 9" in front of my wall mounted 85" Q95B Samsung and the 77" is the exact same size as the 85" TV sitting 8`6" away... Saved a bundle by not getting the 83" size 😉

Great video, I love your side-by-sides. It’s amazing that the color temp is so different in the test patterns and yet we never saw it on the demos. Is that because of the selected mode? Both are great TVs. The G3 discounted is a steal, well except for the S89C and S90C.

Are you aware of issues with the eARC HDMI 2 port on this TV?…..Because quite a lot of users are having issues with it. I was going to buy this TV last weekend, but since I’ve heard about this issue I think I’ll wait until I know LG have fixed the issue. From what I’m hearing many owners think it’s a hardware and not a software issue. So it doesn’t look like it’s something that can be fixed via a firmware update.

At that point the logistics just wouldn’t make sense. You couldn’t properly ship that or get it through a doorway. Micro LED or projection are going to be the only options for that size

So the G4 is basically last year's model that has the same technology up to 83". Both look stunning but completely indistinguishable from one another. I guess WOLED technology really has reached its peak.
