Funny thing during the ending E when the game ask "Is it all pointless?" I briefly thought of...Metal Wolf Chaos, with its hilarious quote "Nothing is pointless and the reason is, because I'm the President of the Great United States of America!" LOL

I can't stand shooters on consoles. The aim assist methods where they tweak cursor position give me whiplash, where the cursor does not end up where I expected it to because the game was trying to help. I don't mind aim assist if it's entirely passive, if it just take a near miss and makes it into a hit via magic, but I don't want the game to be jerking the wheel from me if it thinks I'm not on target.

Prety sure Minecraft and Breath of the Wild benefit from this same ideas, should I go check that out before going to the village where is safe or wait until the next day to Go there? And then an story develops from this small decisions

I liked this quest but I disagree with the video, it shouldn't be unforeseeable but it shouldn't be obvious (there should be hints based on context of the game world). Why should I feel a choice has any weight if I can flip a coin and be just a valid as someone paying attention or someone trying to use their head?

I like how Amnesia doesn't rely on crappy controls to make you feel scared.

It depends on how atmosphere is done. Open world games' downtime can bore the living shit out me due to their samey environments. But when downtime is deliberate I can appreciate it, unless if it's Neil Druckman post TLOU1 game where there is way too much downtime.

I disagree, reloading breaks the flow and the momentum of a shooter and causes situational issues. Without reloading, weapons are more consistent.

if relationship in real world requires work and sacrifice that's a toxic and abusive relationship pursued by one side only to exploit the other for resources

I very much agree that having deadlines and sacrifices do legitimize those social connections in Persona 5. That's an idea that kind of grabbed me back when I dove into the series with Persona 3. Great watch and thanks for returning to this wild world of KZbin.

Great video, welcome back! Loved your points about how commitment is more important than saying the right thing, and how you have to sacrifice to prioritize who's important to you. P5 seems like a great quarantine game.

Pretty good vid, I agree with your analysis on level design and playing with expectations to create tension. All though I don't think there is anything wrong with action RE ditching all that. They are action games after all, they aren't so much about suspense anyway.

The actual reason that the take long to fall in gravity simulation the velocity of the jump doesnt get higher in the beginning it just gets set and gravity takes away from the velocity until its neagtive meaning that the velocity going down is not instant like going up. For example If the player jumps Set the velocity (10) Each frame (-1 velocity) Eventually the velocity will be negative and it will start going down Usally some games may have a max velocity. But dont take things like mass ( same constant for all objects ) or terminal velocity ( depedent on mass) because the difference is so low. Gravity isnt a constant at all heights so basically thats my point. Also im not 100 sure this is just a common practice.

Lol at this guy, trading in this game. :p. every hour or so of questing can get you several thousand echos, if you play your cards right thats after operating costs. If you play this game focusing on mechanics your in for a rough time, take risks, have fun, eat your crew, plunder tombs, accept your failures (both yours and your captains), kill mountains, be eaten by mountains, listen to the tales of your passengers, seek deeper meaning. but for the love of god unless you love tedium, dont attempt non-sunlight trade runs. its just going to burn you out and anything you get out of it wont feel earned. atleast not as earned as if you gain it through the plot.
