I wouldn't mind seeing a few gameplay "lowlights" just for laughs 😅

i did notice that i have a bad win and cube rate with sasq and bounce but i just assumed its my unfamiliarity with bounce. logically the effect is pretty good, free discounts for things you already do in the card game, ie play cards, so while im not actively trying to get a 0 power sasq, im certainly not find its that much of a hard work to get her to a good number. mobius is a non concern for me, but time will tell if she's good. but for some reason tho, i dont see a buff on sasquatch anytime soon, im not sure she needs one.

I think backing up statements with supporting content would be generally well received. Especially if it supports the argument. In such cases keeping the video short with two games highlighting the most glaring problems I think would work. Keep it up Jeff.

This isn't the video we wanted, but the one we needed. An honest first take. So many creators feel it's their job to sell cards, and that's not it. It's to be honest about how you feel and what the early numbers show. Great job as always.

Love rumbling and insights. I'm always skipping the game play in any of these new card's review videos. Keep it up

What about bounce decks tho? I thought it would be a perfect fit, and from what I know it's one of the best archetypes right now, right?
@HooglandiaSnapСағат бұрын
Bounce hasn't been a top performing archetype in a very long time.
@cosmonautduck58 минут бұрын
@HooglandiaSnap i don't have access to any databases, so i can't check myself, but i swear I've seen it in a "best deck highlight" video somewhere recently. Anyway, do you maybe see sasquatch bringing bounce back into the meta then?
@HooglandiaSnap53 минут бұрын
Creators fairly regular ignore data and run best decks videos on feels. It is why I make a point to clearly label which decks in my videos are data driven and what data is driving that category they are in. As I talked about in this video, I think Squatch is worse than the other options while also being a bad cube equity card.

I think the only home for sasquatch is following a turn 2 Mysterio in some sort of skaar deck because if they're a 3/10 they can enable a skaar on turn 6 for 0
@mojotheclown823 сағат бұрын
Interesting take! I don't think what is essentially a 5:10 card can be a bad card, but there are enough other cards at 5 cost that can do something game-winning. I think she's a good option though.
@HooglandiaSnapСағат бұрын
5/10 is incredibly below rate. Namora is often a 5/16 for an easy comparison to the previous week's card.

Keep the informative video abouts cards even if there is no gameplay, we know we can trust you ahahahah
@cupidy3 сағат бұрын
I can’t agree more with your opinion. As a 10-power card, Sasquatch needs to be reduced to a cost lower than 4 to be competitive. Besides Mysterio, it’s hard to achieve this early in the game. If you can’t play her early, then there is a problem cause playing a 4/10 on turn 4 is completely different from playing a 4/10 on turn 6. The 4/10 stats are strong if played on curve on turn 4, but by turn 6, a 4/10 doesn’t have that much impact and sometimes awkward, which is the problem with Sasquatch. Yes, a turn 2 Mysterio followed by a turn 3 Sasquatch is good, but the chance of drawing this combo before turn 3 (actually ideally by turn 2) is only 22.73% (15.15% if by turn 2), which is extremely low. I think Sasquatch will be kind of mid, and probably the worst card this month. Namora is way underrated.

I was watching Dera, Alex and Lamby on twitch and they seem to think It's good. From my perspective so far I think Sasquatch is good in bounce, but far more niche then I thought. I'm on the fence and I will wait a few days. I like to target cards that have more viability then 1 deck type. I kept hearing that the package with Mockingbird and Mysterio seems good and then you can go in different directions from that, but idk if that will end up being the case.
@conorreed37233 сағат бұрын
I enjoyed this kind of format, despite having dropped 4 keys because I thought he looked good 😂 I've had a pretty similar experience with it so far. At least I got Havoc and US Agent as a random pull in the process and a sweet Ravona variant I'll definitely be using so I'm still happy with the investment!
@BlaineTog3 сағат бұрын
I've been a touch wary of this card since it leaked so it's good to hear I'm not totally crazy. It's just hard to enable it when you want to drop your flurry on T6. I got the card anyway, but I really wanted the variants for Havok and Ravonna so I'm not salty either way. Hopefully they'll buff Sas at some point.

Yes please, always provide your insight. I sometimes fail to articulate or even parse what merits or flaws a card has. Even when on rare occasions when I disagree with your analysis it's always welcome food for thought.
@lordbob50004 сағат бұрын
Wow, I don't have the same sample size, but Sasquatch has been stellar for me so far. I've played 3 decks with her, a sage bounce variation and 2 big number decks (1 with mockingbird and the other using pixie) and all have had a great win rate. As I said, smaller sample size, but won against a variety of decks.
@HooglandiaSnapСағат бұрын
You'll be shocked to learn that adding a mediocre card to established decks that have good stats doesn't make them markedly worse. Like I said in the video, the big problem is she isn't more compelling than the other cards you can play instead.

Admittedly, I agree with you. I still pulled for it because I did lack all the cards in the spotlight cache and I had been wanting the other two cards for a lot of the high potential decks, Specifically Ravonna as she was key in a lot of them. Still, I view him as an option in place of Cull Obsidian in some cases.

I really like an honest and thought-out review of new cards, in comparison to "always the best thing ever" kind of hype videos that other snap content creators make! I love how you both experimented with the card yourself and looked at metrics as a basis for the review. This may have saved 3 or so spotlights to a F2P player like me, who was on the fence to begin with with this card. Thank you. Keep doing what you're doing please. You're the only one who does. EDIT: Oh and you don't need to include gameplay highlights to a card review always imo. Its nice but ultimately not as important as getting the review out in the first place.

Wow, thankfully there is actually someone who thinks that this card sucks too, because everyone else seemed really hyped about this card. Easily the worst discountable card in the game and not even close to beeing as good as Mockingbird.
@HooglandiaSnapСағат бұрын
It's so much worse than Mockingbird.

This is not only informative and honest, but also the perfect length of video for this kind of verdict. As an avid KZbin consumer with a lot of channels I want to support with views, I can easily devote less than five minutes and a like to get an opinion from one of my favorite Snap creators.

I'm not sure which awful people you've been watching that told you Cannonball sucked, but you can go back and watch my day one review where I talk about him being fine but replaceable in Clog. Which lo and behold is exactly the same review I gave of the card in my tier list video last week.

"The card isn't bad, it is just hard to play" is such a tired card gamers trope from people who think they are smarter than they are.
