The Jean buff does make her immune to Lady Deathstrike which honestly is a solid upgrade against the Annihilus/Sentry decks

Mantis should just say "On Reveal: Your opponent must play their first card here next turn, if possible." That way she works with the rest of the Guardians. Leave her as a 1/2.

That's a really powerful lockdown ability for a 1-cost though. Imagine that turn 5 for just 1 energy. Other than that I like the idea, maybe as a 2-cost?

Too strong for marvel snap location like death domain, bar with no name, Etc can ruin enemy with one effect.

To balance the card, just add the clause "if your opponent play a card here this turn". That Would be enough and could still being a 1-cost

Jean Grey on the right lane does basically rule out your opponent playing Sentry, unless they do something like Hood + Sentry on 5. Seems like some good disruption.

I don't think she works like that,the term if possible,, must let sentry to be played since it is not possible to play that card on the right.

@@crackedtobey5132 They will always have other cards playable. It's not like they always only left with Sentry and 5-costs on hand on T4, which would allow Sentry to be played.

Yea, I remember a match watching Red Hulk grow over and over then playing in a way that would beat big meaty boy hitting the board only to never have them play him in the 3 games we played. Had him opening hand every game too, SUPER frustrating.

I think SD needs to understand that the playerbase is stupid and doesn't care that Red Hulk's power is revealed. To be honest, I sometimes don't even see the opposing Red hulk animation since I play while doing something else.

I LOVE all of those changes. SD's live balance team continues to make a fantastic job. However, I think they were too conservative with Red Hulk; it's unlikely that taking 2 points of power off him will be enough. In particular, I love Jean's buff, and I hope she gets to be a 3/5 some day.

Disagree. Red hulk is good but he has a major problem of dies to Shang-chi, shadow king, cannonball, or cannonball. Because he plays for 1 lane on the final turn he deserves to be strong compared to magneto or doom who play for multiple or knull who goes over the top. The biggest issue is hope summer with red hulk eliminating that weakness

My favorite card in Jean Grey finally gets some love, It didn’t make much sense that Hope had 4 and not Jean. Honestly now I’m waiting for Cap to get some love and for Werewolf to get reverted.

It's going to be interesting now that Red hulk is below 10 power. I can think of a few favorable positions now where Redhulk drawn on the final turne f the game maybe relevant in deck lists That may be playing other +10 power cards. The situation I imagine is you have a sentery in one lane And you're worried about potentially about shang chi. You could add some backup insurance by playing your red hulk there and it would grow at the end of turn if they had unspent energy. Kind of similar to Dracula. I'm happy though that they didn't nerf him into the ground because I really enjoy him.

With the current way of getting cards, seeing cards like USAngent getting buffed is a double edged sword. We won't see him in spotlight again for months, and now we have to spend tokens on him if he were to be meta. It feels bad for those who didn't then get him. I really hope they change the way we get cards at some point.

I am little disappointed with the USA agent getting buffed with having that card have a bugged spotlight cache week which some people probably skipped. SD probably should have addressed this more with this OTA making USA a bit easier to obtain by dropping it to a series 4.

Red hulk should be 6 power, so then in order to be above rate you need to have it trigger twice.

I think it could be 6/10 and gain +3 each turn, that way it's Just above rate if it triggers once, but doesn't spiral into bonkers territory if it's in their starting hand.

Second dinner on red hulk if they were honest: „we wanted a quick cash crab for a card we knew was overtuned just to nerf it short after. Like we did in the past“. This is getting out of hand…

The reality is game design has a lot of moving parts and expecting them to hit perfectly every release is non-sense.

They need to change card aquisition. For f2p players card re-balances are killer. Although it will never happen, would be nice if they gave us a spotlight key whenever a series 4-5 you own that gets changed.

Snap is by many country miles the most generous f2p TCG there is. What they give you compared to every other game is insane... I understand your frustrations, as well as "give us more for free" being an appealing thought, but this is the reality of things. I recommend (as Jeff often does), buying the season pass if you're that concerned about staying competitive. You not only get each month's pass card, but enough additional resources to usually get every "must have" release without ever "falling behind"... 🤷

Giving you free currency every time they balance cards is why other games like Hearthstone balance less. I don't want game balance decisions beholden to their economic impact. I want balance to be a balance decision.

@@billepperson2662honestly, Yugioh master duel is the best Mobile TcG there is when it comes to being competitive & cost imo. Snap used to be affordable and is definitely still playable, but to tell someone to just purchase the battle pass and they’d be fine is kinda silly. I’d agree if you were right, but New cards in this game value at $100 or a month of just playing and holding spotlight keys. Like my dude, I spent a Month of my life holding these Keys ~ just for my card to get nerfed. Or I skipped a shit card that gets buffed and won’t appear in store again for x time. Snaps a great game, but they’re slowly leaning further and further away from the Commercial message they originally put out.
