@@NastY____ same way. Upload at an obelisk, switch maps back to original one, download character instead of making a new one. It's supposed to remember tribe affiliation if it's the same character who was on that map before, but that doesn't always work so you might have to do the force join tribe thing as shown.

@@AL_McLoud it wasn't that it was so many mods, it was a couple specifically that hadn't been updated in a while and had some problems, and one that had updated very recently and the update worked fine with just a few people on the server, but add more people to the server and it became a big problem. That modder is working on a fix, and we've removed the problematic abandoned ones.

Only difference I think is on official you can't clip pieces into terrain or through each other. But using this method with making a hexagon and then alternating squares and triangles for the foundation, should work fine for making a 12-sided circle. For the roof though since you can't clip pieces through each other, you'll just need to echo the shapes of the foundations immediately below. So, alternating triangle and square roofs around the sides, triangle roofs in the middle.

Joining up a half circle with a square shape without meshing things through each other is more difficult, but one little trick you might want to try is that in some places if you can't mesh foundations through each other because of official settings, you might be able to use a ceiling or quarter ceilings in those spots instead. So basically at the center of your semicircle you'll do three triangles like half a hexagon, and then go outward alternating squares and triangles, but on the two sides where that meets up with your main building, you won't be able to place foundations there because it will mesh through the square structure in those spots. So use ceilings instead of foundations there and you should be good.

@@darthcyanide7620 you may be running low on storage space? Just like the main game, mods need extra space to unpack and install updates. So even if you have 20gigs of space for mods, you can't actually have 20 gigs of mods. You'd need to stop at 18 or 19 gigs. Just for example. And mod size creep is real, as is game size creep... as more content is added the game and most mods grow in size. So even if you had enough space for months with no changes to the list, you may be out of space now.

@@darthcyanide7620 whatever mods are saying that, try uninstalling them, along with any other mods you aren't using/don't need right now. Then shut down the game completely, restart your device, load the game back up, and reinstall just the mods you need.

Snail games is in debt to Nitrado, Nitrado lent them money so they wouldn't go bankrupt, and Wildcard could get a chance to finish making ASA, but Snail and Wildcard don't get any money specifically from people renting Nitrado servers. The tether allows you to have multiple people playing together, while your machine only has to treat it like single player since all the players are together. A console or home computer doesn't have the processing power, the ram, of a professional server, and your machine is already running the game for you and rendering all those pretty graphics. While also keeping track in the, essentially the device's short term memory, of the location and status of every creature, every resource, every item in the "chunk" that you are in, as well as keeping the information of all the chunks around you that are in stasis, so that they can pop back into action when you move into that area. Right now the game is still not very stable. Trying to do that in multiple areas of the map at once, around multiple players, would be more likely to cause crashes. Sony and Microsoft won't tolerate that risk. So the tether control is gone for now, but hopefully they will bring it back when/if they ever get this game more optimized and stable.

Thanks for the kind comment! I try my best! If you are wanting to transfer the *same* character to another map, then don't create. Just obelisk, upload, main menu, launch new SP map, when you get to the character creation screen, look for the "download" option and do that instead of creating one. If that map already has a different character then just load in, upload *that* character at an ob too if you want to save it (make sure to create a tribe first!) and follow the steps here. If you don't want to save that character, then just off the character via implant or something like what I did, and then instead of respawning, hit "create new character" and then once again when you are at the character creation screen, look for the "download" option. This is how it's supposed to work, and it works for most people. Not having a console I can't test it myself, so I don't know if the ppl who have been having issues, idk if it's a bug or if it's user error.

You're right, there is! I missed that! Yeah during Extra Life they did talk about the issues with baby flyers, ie how irl flyer babies can't fly, so it would look weird if they could, but w/o that, they'd have to figure out some kind of nest situation, instead of having babies follow an adult around, which would just be more complicated. But they are trying to figure out how to do it.

And, would be fun to do an A to Z Challenge episode on Extinction... but I thought you wanted to tame gigantoraptors ASAP? Armadoggos would be fun though. But... would that mean we'd also need to tame a dreadnoughtus? 😳 Enforcers could be fun. And Gachas.
