Note: water boils at a constant that is higher than the thermostat, so a thermometer is not required to test it if it opens.

I've fixed oil pans leaks. You have to drain the oil. Get the car at an angle so remaining oil does not rest at the plug. Clean it until it is bone dry. I had rust pin holes and used jb weld. Been holding for years.

Thats fine for one channel operation...Is there any way to lock the keypad and scan your channels at the same time?...If I start to scan and push the # key,it locks the keypad but STOPS scanning and vice versa.....

This would be for when you are operating with a group and you are on a frequency or channel and you did not want to accidentally bump and end up off of that frequency or channel. As far as scanning is concerned and locking it I'm sure you could but I am not certain how. You can monitor two frequencies or two channels at the same time with it locked if you program it in chirp to do so. I do not know how to program it to do so on the actual handheld without chirp.

my zj 1995 5.2. My Jeep is heated and rectify the cyl heads , Felpro gaskets new water pump, aluminum radiator new electric fan ford raptor, separate muffle no cat, no thermostat. I don't know what else to look for. Turn off the AC and lower 180. iddlin in dribe . PLS help 😅

no catalytic converter is like smoking a cigarette without a filter. thermostat helps regulate water flow else the engine will run rich and run hotter and may decrease performance. thermal transfer rates are a constant and are part of how the engine is designed.

I have a 99 jeep grand Cherokee Laredo 4.0l I've replaced thermostat water pump radiator top and bottom hoses and still overheating don't know how to bleed air out system since can't find bleeder valve there's no coolant in oil or water coming out the pipe can u tell me what to do to save my jeep from blowing head gasket

I have a 97 jeep Cherokee and I have to have a separate cooling fan bc it over heats so bad.

@@trinitycrampton a ZJ is different from an XJ, yet even a WJ can have a 4 liter. Installing an electric fan is just a bandaid which can be resolved my flushing the cooling system and maintaining it. Diagnose and resolve the issue.

@@felixint timing chain deals with the valves and effects the efficiency as the sensors keep the ECU on how the engine is functioning. I changed mine as the one of the bolts timing chain cover passes through the water pump in the Magnum 5.2 as the gasket failed and started to leak. Thus with the engine having the miles it had it was prudent to change the timing chain and gears.

Use Jb Weld epoxy around the Area. But first spray the area with Alcohol or with brake Cleaner and Wipe till there's no oil around the Area you are sealing

Harmonic balancer could be worn out not keeping up with crank rpm

note: harmonic balancer is comprised of an outer section and inner section with a hard rubber part that can been seen missing or sticking out. I replaced mine as I could see part of it sticking out. Not checking this can cause more damage to the radiator and other parts when it fails.

Most of these sealers will not work if the area is in any way oil or has the slightest film on the surface.

@LivingOffroadLife imo it is haha. One of ours runs 5psi on beadlocks and the other without bl's 10.5-11. Never more than 12. Doesn't seem that much of a difference but a couple pounds makes such a huge difference. Especially with the lj's weighing so little.

The title says something for everyone. However, the vast majority of what I saw was mud pits. Alyhough we have a 19 Cherokee TH we are not off road warriors for the sake of being off road. We take our Jeep to get to places where it is not possible for me to go otherwise. I was disappointed in not seeing a range of trails.
