@@LivingOffroadLife so I did a new radiator, electric fan, thermostat, and a high flow water pump made out of bilet aluminum. Still overheating. I'm lost, '05 Rubicon 4.0L.

Note: water boils at a constant that is higher than the thermostat, so a thermometer is not required to test it if it opens.

Harmonic balancer could be worn out not keeping up with crank rpm

note: harmonic balancer is comprised of an outer section and inner section with a hard rubber part that can been seen missing or sticking out. I replaced mine as I could see part of it sticking out. Not checking this can cause more damage to the radiator and other parts when it fails.

I have a 99 jeep grand Cherokee Laredo 4.0l I've replaced thermostat water pump radiator top and bottom hoses and still overheating don't know how to bleed air out system since can't find bleeder valve there's no coolant in oil or water coming out the pipe can u tell me what to do to save my jeep from blowing head gasket

I have a 97 jeep Cherokee and I have to have a separate cooling fan bc it over heats so bad.

@@trinitycrampton a ZJ is different from an XJ, yet even a WJ can have a 4 liter. Installing an electric fan is just a bandaid which can be resolved my flushing the cooling system and maintaining it. Diagnose and resolve the issue.

@@felixint timing chain deals with the valves and effects the efficiency as the sensors keep the ECU on how the engine is functioning. I changed mine as the one of the bolts timing chain cover passes through the water pump in the Magnum 5.2 as the gasket failed and started to leak. Thus with the engine having the miles it had it was prudent to change the timing chain and gears.

my zj 1995 5.2. My Jeep is heated and rectify the cyl heads , Felpro gaskets new water pump, aluminum radiator new electric fan ford raptor, separate muffle no cat, no thermostat. I don't know what else to look for. Turn off the AC and lower 180. iddlin in dribe . PLS help 😅

no catalytic converter is like smoking a cigarette without a filter. thermostat helps regulate water flow else the engine will run rich and run hotter and may decrease performance. thermal transfer rates are a constant and are part of how the engine is designed.
