That turn in the beginning is so funny. I am a fairly new rider, about a year in, and the amount of times early on I did that is insane. I think what really helped me get in control of my bike was the many, many hours I practiced in a parking lot doing turns, u-turns, maneuvers etc. I used to go to a mall (I should pick this back up) and practice until I couldn't feel my hands.

Girllll I have watched almost all of your videos and from beginning to current I’m so so proud of you, I take my MSF course on Monday and I’m a nervous wreck because how I started on motorcycles is super not ordinary, I got a bike for my boyfriend to get to work after he wrecked his I’ve only ever been a backpack and I ended up loving the bike myself (I never wanted a bike) and practicing little things in parking lots, curves, stopping, friction zone, basiccs. I’m itching to get on the bike and progress but anxiety is preventing me, Seeing your videos literally gives me so much hope because you fukin just jump right in and handle the new stuff so well. I love it thank you thank you !! You have no idea how inspiring it is to see another female rider be so genuine with her new rider content.

I'm pretty sure you might already know this one since it doesn't really pertain to motorcycles exclusively, when turning, turn into your own lane. I can understand the panic turn to the far left lane, however, this is reckless and could potentially cause an accident. Right lane turns in to the right and middle -> middle. Your safety matters even more when on a motorcycle.

Might need a Bike Tuned if you're gonna get a Full Exhaust.

I wish i was closer to you personally @zoomie.rizzie i just worked through this and im great with Psychology specifically because i was tired of seeing people hurt and i was tired of hating my abilities for thought and i wanted to when my day comes i wanted to be a good husband and father who didn't have to sacrifice emotional well being to survive but who could be dependable to them that was my Motivation.

One way I like to pick up the bike is A. the comment left by @bartomeob2957 but the way I do it is B. turn around and grab the fuel tank and handle bars in a squat position so your hands will be behind you. And use your legs to pick up the bike. This allows you to use your whole body instead of just one part. Do this very slowly though. You want to keep the bike leaned on you throughout the whole process otherwise it's very easy one you reach the balance point to just push it over the other way

Self hate might be the first step to humility

So happy to see another person taking up the sport. Remember always practice safe riding positions and practices. Stuff like at 7:40 for example. Where you could cover your brakes with your pointer and middle finger in preparation for if that car didn't stop. As well as move to lane position 1 (I believe it's been a while since I've read some hard book stuff. but the left side of your lane) or even move to the left lane if no car is in the left lane. Seems super simple and easy to overlook but trust me someday there will be someone driving a car that's either in a rush, had a bad day, forgot their glasses at home or whatever reason and you always want to be prepared. the only person you can predict is yourself so just prepare for someone in a car, or even another biker for that matter, to do the absolute worst thing they can do and it will save you from a lot of potential accidents and hopefully keep you around and in the community until you pass of old age. Love to see people come. Hate to see people go. That includes you and anyone else looking to ride P.s. that was obviously just one example. There's plenty of other things you can do while still being able to use the whole sped-o-meter and have fun on your bike. Just can't go over all them in one comment without it being miles long lol

I had a failed engagement late last year. Its still affecting me every day, but I'm always trying to do better. Ive focused on learning new skills and plan to take the MSF this March. Im excited and its the first time I set a long term goal for myself that I plan to actually stick to. Thankyou for this video <3
