Your first argument, that your country, I assume US or any other western oriented nation, does only give support to one side, is false from the get go. Pretty much all of the western oriented nations are part of UN and therefore support the palestinian UNWRA, either financially or in humanitarian aid. I just CANT get tired of this. Every few months this video ends up in my recomendations, I watch the parts where KJK says she wants trans people dead or sterilised, and then go to the comments to see, without fail, the same Kathleen Pearson account still making comments, responding to comments, and saying idiocies 10 months later. They have been seriously dedicating more time of their life thinking about trans people than I do, and I am literally trans. It is amusing, but I haven't yet decided if its because it is funny, or because it is sad.

I don't usually comment on stuff, but I wanted to pop in and say thank you for the support and effort to correct misconceptions, especially on behalf of all the trans people living in countries affected by the current "trans panic". On the subject of reported rape, the reason why they can't be used to meassure actual rapes is because that assumes victims will absolutely report it which is not true. People who have just been raped are afraid that, if they report it, they will be shamed, ostracized, doubted, judged, face retribution, etc. That's why it's so important to have laws that help them feel safe doing it. If the system instead shows a repeated pattern of failing to punish or even protecting perpetrators of sexual violence then of course not every case is going to be reported and thus looking soley at reported cases will therefore not be a fesable way of meassuring the amount of cases overall.
