I really think they should pivot to focus on gameplay over anything else at the moment. As it stands, the game is already beautiful, but they need to give us something to do!

@@emmsdaniels924 It’s the same name in game. And I play official Gondwa mostly, though I do like Panjura. And community servers I’m all over, but mostly Isla Nycta and Nat Hist.

they seriously need to fix the hitbox problem, I found I can get it to most reliably work by turning my camera the opposite direction to what the dino is facing. Which is totally, and literally, ass backwards. I hope they fix it in the next patch

A slow and steady development process for this game. The art direction is awe-inspiring, though it does feel that strong visual presentation is taking priority over the mechanics of the game itself. Which does test some patience for the consumer looking at the game it's early stages. Hopefully the developers can pull through with laying a solid foundation. Typically content doesn't quite pour into the bowl until the later stages of development when the tools and workflow are established to populate the play space with fun stuff.

only issue I have with the Quetzalcoatl, is that that isn't an animal species name, it's like calling the dragon species Loki. Should just be a feathered serpent. Tecatl is a weird word to go with as well, but it's less outlandish. it just means "inhabitant" though more specifically to a city or town ending in -tlan I think. so kind of like calling it "Native"

I see what you're saying. Like you said, naming a whole dragon species Thor, Loki, or something like that would sound a bit off. For myself I always think of a Quetz as a species, and the name stems from Quetzalcoatl, which is a god essentially, and not a species of feathered dragons. Some food for thought, for sure.

The game is definitely promising and has high potential. But development is just very slow, and perhaps in even too early of a stage to even be Early Access on steam. While I look forward to checking in on the development of the game from time to time, I don't expect anything major for many years to come. I think once the game's PvP/PvE/PvPvE as well as quest systems are more fleshed out and stabilized, the game may see some more growth.

I agree with you, I can't say it has much gameplay features, but it is interesting (for me at least) to keep track of changes and see what's going on as the team moves ahead.

I grew a baby EO on officials a few months ago and it wasn’t so bad. I wish it had better skins, I didn’t find the current ones worth wasting time to die farming. I’m using some red one. Your chonk monster is cute 🤩

Not bugged the spino did lose one of his bites. Many of the Dino’s have undergone many changes and this info here is outdated now. I would love to do an update but there are still many more updates in the works that have yet to be released.

Yo! This might feel like a really random comment, but I generally sorta struggle at progressing in the game. Do you have any idea how to get better at knowing where to go next / what to do? I don't often play those kind of games so it feels really frustrating to start it and sorta do nothing for 1 hour.

Listening to the conversations even though they can be sort of tedious can sometimes lend a clue, as just looking for the giant crystals dotted around. I really am going to upload the play through video, and that may also help, but we had a family issue and I had to leave town suddenly and it’s been about a week now. Should be able to get that Mondayish.

I have high hopes for this game. I really missed good dragon MMO, and then Draconia and DoD emerged. DoD is more like VR Chat, sitting and doing like.. nothing? And there is Draconia.. developing slowly but surely, and I think it may be it. At least I hope so.
