​@yarnfossil hey little tip in pvpinhlg aginst larger dinos like sucho and rex have lone survivor and traction the you can tail ride a rex if your good enough and you take a lot less dmg on the rear than the front so your tail slap game is almost as good as lambs

I've always wanted to play on a realism or semi-realism server but I was always intimidated by the WWD servers because of how strict the rules seem. Would you recommend this one?

I would. Their rules are not staggering, like some and they have some neat features with their server. It’s ran by a real paleontologist, which is nice. In a few I’ll link their discord. They host events, have weather and seasons, nesting, rogue herbies, that can be the aggressor, just to name a few things that make the server different. They also have things like science trivia and grant yourself marks. Yes. I’d highly recommend the server. discord.gg/nathist

@@ducestat06savage99 To my knowledge, they try and keep it pretty close to official. I asked, and no changes that I know of, but it does have passive growth, and things like that.

How does this game compare to the isle just curious

First, my opinion is biased (Obviously). Neither game is a complete product yet. The Isle has had eight years, and Path of Titans just shy of four. With Legacy being shuttered, The Isle has lost access to a sizable number on its roster. Even the new dinos that are coming to Gateway are from the older roster reworked. Hera was introduced originally seven years ago, and I’m still looking forward to its release? Path has introduced new playables, three in just a year, on official, but it also has a very active mod community that allows for an even bigger roster on certain servers. When it comes to growth it is a mixed bag. I like the passive growth and diet system of The Isle, but it does promote a safe, AFK growing experience, as the risk of getting caught as an infant is perma-death. Unfortunately with the new herding mechanic, when I played as a teno, it funnels you into an area and removes the foraging free range experience I liked in The Isle. PoT is a tedious acorn collection simulator, but it does force you across the map facing potential baby eaters, but the risk of death is roughly five quests worth of time, or however the community server deems necessary. A few servers do have perma-death or serious penalties. There's also the option of passive growth on most community servers. Luckily the questing system is going to be reworked in the future, and I believe them. The Isle is going to get humans, two different types of humans…but I feel like Primal Carnage would still be a better option, and that game is twelve years old, or older. Neither game is fully balanced, but PvP in PoT feels closer to that goal than The Isle. See Stego. I’m under the impression The Isle doesn’t want you to encounter other players, maybe? I LOVE being able to sniff and smell in The Isle. I HATE sitting in the dark or fog for eighty percent of the game. Stam in PoT depends on the dino. Stam in The Isle just sucks. To be honest, before Gateway, I would play The Isle and enjoy my experience for the most part. But as a filthy casual, the changes don’t work for me, and all this without mentioning Dondi.
