Does your original Car head unit have no map but touch screen? I would like to confirm. I bought Clubman the same time as yours. Mine has no Map but touch screen. IF we have the same head unit then I will follow your path to activate my carplay. Thank you

Hoi, omdat mijn auto ook last heeft van deze beschadigingen heb ik zelf de nieuwe rubbers besteld (valt niet meer onder garantie en vorige eigenaar heeft het nooit gestoord denk ik). Maar… als het deur paneel eraf is, wat zou ik dan nog moeten doen om het rubber zelf te vervangen?

Non of these are a perfect corded vacuum replacement if you have carpets. You obviously have never felt the power and seen how much extra dust a corded vacuum picks up compared to these two things!!

Can you do another comparison again after 5 years? I want to see how SXRD degradation has affected the picture on Sony. I was planning on buying an Epson or BenQ but found one of these used Sony's super cheap, and now I want to know how much I'm missing in contrast/color.

Worked GREAT--thank you! Only difference I found in my Countryman is instead of hitting volume button for idrive reboots, simply turn off the car and wait for the 20 min; then restart and there's your reboot :) Had to wait at least 20 min in between each reboot but after the 3rd time--it definitely was a charm--I now have Apple Car Play via Bluetooth :)

Hi. What year is your countryman? Is it the f60? Did you install a wifi antenna in order for the carplay to connect to your phone?

@@MsPao1106 My countryman is a 2017 and no I didn't have to install anything else for carplay to work except update that software and reboot several times. Also, if you've already connected your phone via bluetooth, you'll have to totally delete it and start over to set up bluetooth again and choose the carplay option. I will say it did modify my original navigation that used to show turns on my headsup display no longer does that--seems navigation is only via carplay now.

That is normal. It is your resistance motor changing the resistance on it.

No it’s not. It was broken. It should stay until you or program changes resitance. This was changing every couple seconds not holding resistance.

I read that it is only valid if car has the Navi option. My Mini has 8.8" recent touch screen but not with Navi option, will that work for this too? (F60 countryman classic, Turkey)

Thank you very much for this video. It is really useful. I was wondering if you know how the plastic trimparts are mounted to the panel itself? For instance, the horizontal bar with the optional lightstrip, or the C shape in front of the speaker. Is it possible to remove these parts without removing the doorpanel, you think? (Is it a clicking system, or is it molten from behind?) I hope you can help, many thanks.
