Thanks. Easy to follow and understand. I am wanting to attach a deer antler to a driftwood base (for a bracelet hanger), and you've given me the info I need.

So, you seem to know your way around skulls and how to apply metals to them. Say, if I were a Dark Lord, who is into collecting human skulls and wanted to coat them in silver so they would serve as drinking implements - how would I go about that?

I have quite a bit of different skulls from hiking. What is the most delicate skull you have done and what size dremel thanks. If i can ever sit down long enough, I would like to try on my little collection .

Sorry for the possibly off-topic question. I have a mount I got from a thrift with a loose antler and I can't find anything to help me figure out how to fix a loose antler. I believe the treading for the bolt is broken. Also off topic but that skull is absolutely beautiful.

Love the videos… Was wondering if you had any recommendations, I had a skull done by someone and they left it oily and not cleaned. I soaked it in Dawn and got a decrease… And peroxide/basic white the skull. Now it seems to be very chalky and almostgreeny. Any recommendations for fixing that. Or any recommendations for a good replica skull to put the antlers on. I usually mount mine with a lower jaw, and haven’t found any replicas that look real with that attached.

I bought one by outlaw Skulls… But it just seems like a ceramic mold. And doesn’t have as much detail as I would like. It was wondering if there’s a way to possibly build up the outside or finish of my school to make it smooth again… Or if not, a recommendation for a skull

I’m trying this my 1st time and have 3 skulls soaking and one of them on day 10 has lost its nose bones. They just fell off when lifting the head out of the water. Why would this be happening? The other 2 are still in tack

This is a really interesting video! My late uncle gave me one of his 6 point deer skulls and I’ve been having trouble at removing the tissue towards the back of it, I’ve been wanting to mount it for a while. Just behind the antlers a couple inches from the base is two spots that won’t come off. Would this technique work with those stubborn tissues? The reason I haven’t tried this on those skulls before is because I don’t have a bucket big enough! I also have various bones some I picked up off a train track from an animal that presumably met its demise via train. It’s covered in rust colored spots and I was wondering if this would work on those as well, thanks!

A 3000 will do for starting out. You might find in the future the 4000 will provide a bit more torque.
