I've always liked seasons 4 and onwards better than the first 3 (unpopular stance, i know) because it always seemed like in the first 3 seasons, they were writing for little kids. But they eventually realised that they could be more intelligent and didn't have to play into this super obvious in-the-face type of stuff. So many little things in S1-3 make me cringe but it's things that make kids laugh. Example, S3E13 right after Celestia tells the Mane 6 that Twilight is a princess, Pinkie responds but then sips water just so she can spit it out to have a bigger reaction. I was watching this with a friend's kid recently and the kid laughed so hard at that.

I like the theory about Celestia's exam. But I do disagree with the Scootaloo theory. I think if the problem was that she was never taught, she could still learn. She tries to learn from Rainbow Dash and in Flight to the Finish she literally tries over and over and over but like Sweetie Belle and Applebloom say, it's impossible. And in her adult form she still has small wings. I prefer the interpretation that she's disabled and it's really good representation of how disabled people don't need to be "fixed" and instead can use accommodations like her scooter! Also for the couples part, you forgot Maud and Mudbriar lol

My favorite MLP game is a mod for the game "Hearts of Iron 4". The mod is called "Equestria At War"
