I was previously a Photoshop user but have used Pixelmator Pro for a fair number of years. I was turned off by both the subscription cost as well as the ugliness of the interface. You can do just about anything with it, but it is often clunky to get the job done. I think Pixelmator Pro is a solid product that has also has some nice features that work particularly well with Final Cut (e.g. LUT creation, PSD file exports, etc.). If you are looking for a very capable image editor that operates more like Photoshop but is not on a subscription model, also consider Affinity Photo (or the Affinity suite of Photo, Publisher, and Designer). For photo cataloging and image processing, I think Capture One is excellent with terrific raw processing. It is updated frequently and is quite capable.

sharpness comes from not turning down "detail" in the picture profile. Hence, in-camara sharpening is being applied.

Interesting, I thought the -7 detail setting was A7IV specific, but realize now that was the default for FX3 and PP8. I’ll have to test again but I’ve been using the Log Shooting Setting lately. The difference is more noticeable compared to the A7IV, but less so once uploaded to KZbin.

I like your thoughts about both Photoshop and Pixelmator Pro. They feel relevant and based on personal experience of both programs. I only wonder if some of the limitations compared to Lightroom could be due to that their other program, Photomator is a more fair comparison.

You indeed have 2 tech pouches for the price of one. When you compared with Peak Design. I also was looking in these two, And I still can’t make a decision, because tomtoc has a fake leather on it. That will be on same getting damaged. While Peak Design tech pouches is more rugged or more stronger But than again it also cost twice the Tomtoc But I wait first on my thin Tomtoc 360 protective sleeve but this sleeve is double one for laptop and the other for all the peripherals. Maybe it’s enough to not buy an extra pouch. So I save that money. I need it for traveling including 16 inch macbook m4 pro And I just buy it. Im busy to get it complete. Thanks for this video You share and showing everything crystal clear 👌🏻 But I will choose probably for the tomtoc pouch you have there in size M The S size is smaller and it has less pockets and the color accents is only black with the S model. But than again Peak Design has a more higher quality for probably life time But tomtoc is also good for a minimum 5 years time use when that fake leather ? When it starts to flake? Or am I wrong? Thats the down side when they add these materials on it Have a good one everyone 👋🏻

With the Apple pencil, It’s my main content creation & media consumption device now. I also have an iPad mini 7 for when I really wanna travel light. This video you're trying to cover so many different things it doesn't make sense The iPad laptops are all used for different things you can't do the same things and there's not the amount of programs games then on the PC I have a iPad pro and I use it a lot mostly for watching videos and internet surfing not really gaming screen is not big enough I use a PS5 for that and I have a ASUS broad strix g16 laptop that I use and I just prefer having the ability to go on the internet and get so many free software for different things like video editing or downloading KZbin stuff for whatever you're doing and definitely gaming it's like having a computer and a Xbox all in one so I like my iPad because they're portability of it but if I had to sit the one that would be my laptop always and I think it's a crime and a shame that they took CD or not CD but Blu-ray players DVD player combos out of laptops

I’m an artist, and even I chose the 11” iPad Pro. To me, it’s the perfect size tablet. The larger screen of the 13” is nice, but i think a tablet was meant to be held. And the 13” is not very holdable. It’s more of a desktop only device. I do all my drawing as well as photo & video editing on my 11” iPad Pro with no issues. I also have an iPad mini for when I really wanna travel light.

Hey man, great review! You brought up a lot of good stuff and it was an interesting video. Only comment I would make for improvement is that it’s very clear you’re reading from a script. I know making videos can be difficult and you wanna make sure you don’t forget something you want to say but I would highly recommend just writing a brief outline and having some notes and bullet points and then just talk naturally. I know it can be difficult for some people and public speaking and improvisation isn’t everyone’s strong suit, but I think it’s worth giving it a try as it will come off more natural and less scripted and monotonous. Definitely keep up the great work and I’m excited to watch your future videos. Still gained a subscriber!.

Apple has a clear history of destroying/ending powerful applications. The most notorious example is when the purchased Shake. Which was the VFX industry standard for visual Effects. It was used on every Hollywood movie back in the day. They bought it and just did nothing with it, then just End Of Life the application. It is just that they have so much money that they don't mind loosing a couple million dollars to just tinker with an app. Then throw it on the waste pile.
